Following on from this we'll be in BRIGHTON for a Stadium Tour this weekend 🍻 then ticking our final Premier League destination off the following weekend in Luton 🤩 MORE stadium tours are booked for this month but I'll keep those quiet for now so LET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS 👉🏽 WHERE NEXT⁉ 🏟
Might sound odd coming from somebody who used to attend Vicarage Road regularly during the 1990s but you know that saying "what goes around comes around" ? I believe Luton are actually due some luck come back to them for that points deduction which was the beginning of their fall down to the National League. You look at the teams above them-Forest,Everton etc, they are not exactly pulling away leaving them stranded,i have to give them credit they deserve a second season in the Prem.
Hi Ry, as a Newcastle United fan your boyhood team are a recurring nightmare for me every time the FA Cup comes round lol. Despite that I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed watching this as I have watching your other videos. Keep doing what you do, it’s excellent and really interesting to a fellow football fan like myself. Thanks 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
Hi Ry, our present club shop is a joke with very little choice of items. Given that we’re black and white daft up here and would buy fresh air if it had a club crest on it, I’m certain the new owners will realise they’re sitting on a goldmine and the revamped adidas club shop will be a massive step up from what it is today. Hopefully you can get a better quirky item than a duck next time, keep up the good work 👍
Great video as per Ry . Been Edgar street twice Stockport county beat them 2-0 in the fa cup 2005 and we won 2-0 in the efl league two aswell 2007 Sorry Ry 😮
Enjoying your video's. I left England in 73, and remember the giant killings in '72. I also used to go to the Fair with my granddad, so have fond memories of Hereford, to the point I do check their scores on the weekend. Thanks again
5:12 the elbow from the Hereford defender if thrown in this day would result in the Newcastle forward rolling about in agony. Back then it was just shrugged off.
Glad you enjoyed it mate! As ive put in the description - I've held onto the guilt of drifting away from Hereford over the years... not just Geographically (been out of the Shire for around 11 years) but from a footballing sense... My dad and brother who live in Hereford are still season ticket holders... so I'm hoping to shed more light on clubs like Hereford and remind those of the great (and at times "sad") history of the club :)
Edgar Street. Just look at it. It's a steam train in a world of the High Speed Train. But people stop to watch a steam train go by,and people still want to see a match at this ground, and why not? Close to an equally charasmatic town centre and railway station, this place echoes with John Motson's first BBC FA Cup Commentary game. If there was a list of "want to see this club back in the league" this would be back, along with Aldershot,Bury,Oldham,Rochdale & Halifax 😊
Mate, that’s a cracking comment and way of describing Edgar Street 👏🏽 I’m gonna make a video about those teams you listed too… let’s BRING THEM BACCKKK
@@RysFootyParadise oh Ry,just seen something that made me laugh on facebook. You may not be aware that cricket counties have local rivalries -though not as intense as soccer or rugby league,it's still nice to get one over the rivals. In Vitality Blast T20 the match between Sussex Sharks (Hove) and Hampshire Hawks (Southampton) is known as "El Clasicoast" .Would be interested to know if football rivals have similar puns 🙂
Nice one Ry, love the Hereford hedge !, a really deep tribute to your home town club. Superb edits in there too your getting better at this passion of yours, so keep up the good work, plus love the lead into the next Brighton video. Hope you get a nice warm welcome at the Amex and no pesky security guards giving you grief. Really looking forward to the next one mate, make sure you get something good from the club shop for Paradise HQ too ,e.g. no seagull tat!
haha cheers mate, appreciate the kind words as always! Really looking forward to Brighton - we'll be joined by a knowledgable fan who even has a Brighton podcast so it'll be interesting hearing the events of that day in 97 from a different perspective
I've got caught up watching for the last few weeks , not sure how but just wanted to say your doing a fantastic job and I'm bloody falling in love with you haha. That old saying about milkmen is definitely true 🤔 .... Keep it up Ry and thanks
Thanks Rys, as a Brighton fan I really enjoyed that & your honesty re Man Utd. I was there for that draw or bust game (for us). I’m a season tkt holder at the Amex and people talk about this match or that match. When your clubs existence is at question, no other game has ever come close in terms of importance. Really interesting to see the story told from Herefords point of view. Good to see Hereford back on the up.
Interesting video again visited here a few times never really been a happy hunting ground and often ended up on the receiving end of stick here and I sat near that bolts hut thing one night which felt out the way.
In 1997 after we drew 1-1 against you, we got drawn against you in the FA Cup at your place the season after. It was like a war zone driving into your town, you were after blood that season.
I grew up in Yeovil in the 70s, remember many games against Hereford in the Southern League and the FA Cup always a good punch up before and after the game, happy days😀😀
What a great video glad I had a butch its nice to hear about Hereford as my favourite player at my team west ham jarrod bowen come from there and hes an amazing talent to come from that club so from all west ham fans thanks so much. Would you do a jarrod bowen video of someone making it big ⚒
Great video, just to mention though, Radford scored the equaliser, Ricky George scored the winner against Newcastle. And Brighton didn't win, they drew.
It’s funny you should mention Leicester City and Tranmere. My club, Tranmere, went on to play Leicester in the league cup final, I wonder if it was the same season you played them in the same cup? 👍🏻

Class watching 70s footy isn’t it - the Leeds team were scrapping all the time 🤣 or that Chopper Harris for Chelsea 😮
@@RysFootyParadise every team seemed to have at least one "reducer".
From a distance the Len Weston stand looks like a stand you would see at a racecourse track. Another great video.
Cheers Paul - it's mad its exactly as it was in the 90s
