There’s an updated video I’ve done with the diagnostic box procedure. Link is at the end of this one as an end screen. Click it and it takes you straight to it.
Service vehicle soon isn’t a service reminder it’s a get it into service there’s an issue. Looks like it’s picked up on the turbo not working so it’s doing it’s job. It’s just a strange confusing way of wording it by Vauxhall.
Hi I have same message in bord but when I try to reset its give me on device wat I use to reset message like this: Clear/Reset Emission-Related Diagnostic Information, Are you sure?... And after I say OK its delet the message... But its come after 2 days again... You have ideea wat I need to do.... Thank you so much in advance
If you’re getting the same fault code it’s going to be a fault with the car. That’ll need fixing before the message goes away. Look up the code to tell you what needs to be fixed or take it to your local garage. 👍
If its the Ecotec engine its most likely the pressure sense glow plugs , these sense max cylinder pressure so as to adjust injection for maximum efficiency its very common fault . They tend to carbon up then stick giving this fault ,often crank position error shown with this fault and sometimes vibration under power at 2000 rpm . Glow plugs are expensive around £100 each and cannot be replaced with regular glow plugs but they can often be ultrasonic cleaned I did mine and it cleared fault . You can read off pressures with Vauxhall software or code reader running Vauxhall specific software ,simple OBD2 scanner wont do this though
no need any tools like that, just discount your battery cable fully and by some how few time connect just battery cable+ and- put key in with out battery connect and few time try to start ,so after that first connect + battery and second - so try to rest!!! all will go off. that's all.
Well I ignored the service vehicle soon message and my car broken down on a motorway. When I parked up 15mins later had a huge puddle of engine oil on the bottom of car. Got car recovered and now waiting next week for it's check up. Any ideas? We think the car is game over
Service vehicle soon is actually a fault on the engine on all Vauxhall’s , it doesn’t actually mean service your car , it’s very misleading of Vauxhall
Mine said " service vehicle soon " when my thermostat started to play up and not allow the car to get to correct temperature. Since thermostat change never came on again.
The service vehicle soon has got nothing to do with servicing it means something has failed in the engine cause with me it was a glow plug and after it was fixed it stopped displaying it
I had this on astra gtc 2013 1.7 cdti on sat morning car went to limp mode got home turned car off went to get scanner, started car and message was gone returned to full power was busy and used car rest of weekend to Sunday evening putting a fair few miles on message never came back and car drove fine temps fine and hasn't returned, anyone got any clue?
My2015 opel corsa 1.0 says service vehicle soon and power drops. When changing to higher gears on freeway the power drops and car slows down and after sometime it picks up the power. What could be the cause ?
You need to clear the fault codes in the ecu with a diagnostic tool to get rid of this light. It’s a known fault from Vauxhall. It shouldn’t be like this.
Thank you for two days your the only one to tell us that at the end thank you
Thanks. No problem. Have you seen my other video of how to clear it with the scanner?
I've got same problem with my new vauxhall astra 2019 & it can't be rest from tools in the car thanks for sharing very useful & informative video 👍
You’re welcome thanks
Thanks for that I've been trying for days to remove that bloody message.now I can sleep at night lol
Glad to help
I’m glad I saw this video thanks for showing It was driving me crazy wondering why it wouldn’t set the service soon 🤦♂️
Glad to help. I've done a follow up video on the SVS light when it came back in showing how to clear it with the diagnostic box.
Cheers for that really helps pal!
You’re welcome thanks
Cheers for making me wait till the end of video to tell me I can't do it. Jesus.

Do you know how to solve the issue where my engine cooling fan is constantly blowing at max speed on start up??
I happen also for my Opel Astra J - 2014, 1.6TDCI 100kw. The problem was one of the 4 spark plug.
Glow plugs seem to be a regular culprit.
Mine has just come on that service is due and turbo stopped working . Any ideas please

Nice one bud, about to flog the car and only had oil change recently, just saved me a few £ for sure.

I've just got this problem with my car P03AD and P03B7 yay!
So I just need to plug my OBD in, and clear all fault codes as normal? :)
Yes. Make a note of the codes. If it comes back on and it’s the same code then you’ve got a fault that needs fixing.
@@redram52 awesome.
Cheers bud!
@@jayvernon2575 you’re welcome thanks

If it was the 2 litre CDTI version then it was likely a notorious plastic ring that broke...Google it and you will read all about it
Service vehicle soon is actually a fault on the engine on all Vauxhall’s , it doesn’t actually mean service your car , it’s very misleading of Vauxhall
when i set the language to Polish, it does actually read, There's a fault with your vehicle, contact service.
Yes it’s the other em light they sumtimes come on for glow plugs etc
Mine said " service vehicle soon " when my thermostat started to play up and not allow the car to get to correct temperature. Since thermostat change never came on again.
1 other thing...on astra j sometimes u need to press the brake as well as the set/clear button
The service vehicle soon has got nothing to do with servicing it means something has failed in the engine cause with me it was a glow plug and after it was fixed it stopped displaying it
So what your saying is you can't turn off service vehicle soon light then
It’s a fault light like a pre engine management light so needs plugging in to diagnose it. There’s another of my vids showing it in detail. Thanks

What is a regular dash?
With this message, the P037E error that I have been fighting for a year may appear.
Hello how can I contact you so I can come to your garage so you can fix my car?
My2015 opel corsa 1.0 says service vehicle soon and power drops. When changing to higher gears on freeway the power drops and car slows down and after sometime it picks up the power. What could be the cause ?
If there's no warning light on the dash could the clutch be slipping? Engine revs up but car doesn't go faster.
redram52 exactly revs and speed not picking
It happens when you have a engine malfunction code check on you obd plug in

Hi, I delet the code but it's still come back
Then you have a fault that needs fixing.
Inside thermostat needs replaced
This message relates to glow plugs. The first ones to go is cylinder 1,3,2,4. I know this because after service the vehicle this msg appear.
I try manually and by diagnostic still same , I think there is problem in engine ecu or instrument
Press brake pedal while pressing clear
Bonjour, j ai le meme probleme !!! Quell est le problem ! Merci de me tenir informe !!
maslouh hassan bonsoir. avez vous résolu votre probleme svp?
So what is that device you have ?
JJB. This was an Autel diagnostic box but any OBD compliant box should do it.
How to reset the trip km ???
Need to press brake whilst clearing
Żaden problem
Useless
Didn’t it reset the oil percentage?
Try my other video linked at the end if you want to see how you use the diagnostic tool to clear the SVS message.
