When ATC offers a pilot a "phone number" means they will have to call the big ATC bosses. That's never good.

The different voice on the radio was a different ATC person. They hand off from airspace to approach and approach to ground. 3 different controllers. The first change in the voice was the other pilot taking coms when the other was screwing up the readback. One pilot screwing around can make everything so much more difficult - but one controller screwing around makes everything more dangerous.

Pilot deviation is just that, deviation from standard procedure. Phone number is for local FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) office, usually doesn't end good for pilot especially one that gets short with ATC

Heh, I'm loving the increased aviation content on the channel. 'Pilot Deviation' is a violation the tower reported on the pilot(s).

Just buzz the tower to gain an Air Traffic Controller's respect. The FAA will love you so much, that they'll insist on you taking a looong vacation from flying. They have so much to chat with you about! You know you just can't wait to go visit your old instructor for a nostalgic reunion, and who doesn't wish they could relive training and check rides all over again. Now you can! All you REALLY want is VFR anyway, right?
