@ 00:48 The prototype Rex is sealed with micro flat, I said matte haha
Is it better then the spray? Will it come off
@@finnandcolton280 if you properly seal it, it should be comparable to the spray on sealant. Either way won’t withstand heavy wear but should be good for light use!
So keep away from small humans
@@jonaktoyswhat’s considered light compared to heavy use?
Thanks for the idea might use this
Thanks for the review! Might have to try it out!
I placed an order of a lot of clone
stuff and I’m really excited to get it
Thanks for the tutorial!! Gonna use micro flat to seal my 501st figures. Making every named canon/legends 501st Trooper so I’m gonna need a lot of it 😅
Awesome! One bottle should last a while haha
@@jonaktoys That’s a huge relief!!
Can you show me how to decal the Lego that’s the most time I mess up
Hey, awesome tutorial. Just curious if it works better than a spray sealant. If it prevents smudging and such, I'm 100% down.
Not exactly sure how it compares with durability but the process is a lot easier imo! With spray sealant you have to do it outside and the weather isn’t always ideal for it.
This sounds great because my figures decals would always look wonky after spraying. Does micro flat/gloss have a bad smell or require a well-ventilated area like spray sealant? Also, when will you restock the blank official p2 helmets or the forge helmets? Thank you!
No strong smells! And not sure but hopefully soon haha
Can you use the micro flat for the entire figure after it’s decaled or would you still suggest using spray?
Great tutorial! Might have to try this out, does it yellow the figure like regular sealant? Because if not I’m definitely switching to this
I haven’t experienced any yellowing! I didn’t have spray sealants cause yellowing either though haha. Maybe too much Sun exposure?
@@jonaktoys Maybe, I’m definitely still gonna try this out though just to compare it
What about the micro satin? Have you tried that?
Does micro flat stops the fade
Can i do this with a painted figure
Which would you recommend using? The Micro Flat or or the spray sealant?
Imo micro flat is a better option but both work!
Second!
Does this leave brush strokes or does it have a smooth finish?
Once it dries it doesn’t leave strokes!
I didn’t know this was a sealant! Does it protect the decals better than like a can of Krylon?
I imagine that if you apply it to a similar thickness then the durability should be close! Haven’t done intense durability testing but it seems good
@@jonaktoys cool! Thanks.
ive heard it is much better, in my experience sometimes you don't even need to carve the hips if you use this rather than spray, but always be careful
@@natealvarado8597 oh wow ok. I’ll have to try it out. Thanks!
Are u gonna add this to the site or shoul I buy on Amazon
I’ll add some soon!
Where can I get micro sol?
Amazon or eBay!
Do I need to apply a spray on sealent on to it after?
Nope!
@@jonaktoys let’s go, thanks!
How long does it have to dry?
Not too long!
16 seconds before me
Interesting I've been using hair spray
Not sure how well hair spray works haha never done it myself
Bruh
First
change the name?
Classic apology video vibes
@@micahnike18 wait sorry I was just confused why it was called that
Hahaha it wasn’t supposed to be live yet 😂
Thanks for the idea might use this
It’s worked well for me so far!
