    Love what you said about not getting stuck in one type of guard. Should just be fluid transitions to whatever works.

    Love it bmac!! Been using rubber guard more in class & I’m pretty sure I’ve seen almost all your stuff on it. I have my first competition on the 6th of March & hopefully I can get a submission from rubber guard, Idk if anyone in beginner division is used to people playing rubber guard 😂

      Right on man. Good luck! Don’t get to tied up in the results for the first few years. Just go have fun and try to take away one major lesson, win or lose.

      @@jk90z it was alright I lost the first match by triangle & the second match I won by guillotine, I have another tournament this Saturday too hoping to do better than last time.

      Man you’re in good hands with those guys. Herzog is one of my biggest mentors in martial arts. He was so helpful to me, especially in my white to purple years. I’ve used so much of his teaching over the years.
