That phone to go pro transition was super cool
Thank you for letting everyone know that the GoPro or any other action cam can work on these AI gimbles even when intended for phones. I sorted through my various gimbles and found that Hohem had an earlier model with AI, the Hohem Isteady V2. It is not as rugged as the M6 or the MT2 (I own MT2). However , the V2 is a smaller, more lightweight solution for GoPro. I simply put it in the camera clamp and add a small rubber bungee for more security when using my Media Mod and Edutuge mic. It's a great lightweight solution for hiking. Thank you for the video and inspiration.
Thank you for sharing! I was debating between DJI pocket camera and this one. I bought this one due to the price and good reviews online; however, I haven’t figured out how to keep it balanced. 😢
I have the pocket camera 2 but the battery is buult in so you only have 1 hour of footage and it overheats

I would like to mount GoPro & phone at same time I think this would be some type of 3d print mount or a homemade Frankenstein go pro mount attached to camera connection??? Would be neat to get wide video from one and photo or Timelapse for other and slipper for charging both would be easy
I would recommend using the Hohem MT2 gimbal instead of this one for starters as it is stronger and will actually be able to hold both cameras. It also comes with a phone mount adapter that has a cold shoe amount and a 1/4 20 thread mount on the top that you should be able to get an adapter for to connect to your GoPro.

This is such a great promo, since I just got this same gimbal, and still learning to use it with my phone today but I did want to find some thing that works with my GoPro so it just means that I can hit two birds with one… OK, let’s be nice to birds, but I can get a lot done!
I would love to run this however that clamp doesn't seem good enough for anything outside walking with it.

Just keep in mind this wouldn't work at all in his studio because you need full sunlight to use a GoPro. It won't work indoors
And outdoors it overheats in 15 minutes lol

Do you know if it will connect with the osmo action 4? If it can indeed control the action 4 ill be picking one up and sending the isteady 4 back. The tracking and fact its a decent light will make it worth it alone if the controls can indeed connect

This video was made before the MT2 came out. The MT2 is better for GoPros and other cameras. The M6 is better for just using with phones.

Hit the trigger button 4 times and the gimbal arms will flip around out of the way or mount the GoPro facing the other way

The AI tracker only works within like 15 to 20 feet so it would not be able to track you across the football field

Well, this defeats the purpose of using an action camera that already has built-in EIS. If using a gimbal, just mount a smartphone or a mirrorless cam.
