Anne Wilson one of the most kick ass singers in rock & roll! The 1970s was the best decade for music! I love watching the Old Grey Whistle Test shows, always great performance from great bands. Thanks for sharing!
That is my Hobby , too. The first Grey Old Whistle Test Record that i ever saw was an amazing Version of "Dreamer/Deceiver" performed by a very young Rob Halford/Judas Priest. Since then i come back regulary to dig for hidden GOWT-Gems and found plenty!😊
What I love about Roger’s playing on this song is that no matter what he plays for the solo (which is different every time), it always segues smoothly into the harmony guitar interlude.
Watched OGWT a lot in the mid 70's and distinctly remember seeing this and i think they also played Dreamboat Annie. Never had heard of them before but loved what i heard and saw. Couple of days later bought DA album in Doncaster - one of my all time favourite albums
I have used auto tune and it makes me sound and it sounds flat, Ann is the best singer in the rock, back when everything was analog , she laid it down perfectly
Damn nice to see this pop up; stands the test of time well. Talented bunch right there. Will always remember hearing Magic Man for the first time in my first year of high school; became a Heart fan instantly. (Though my favorite Heart period BY FAR was that first line-up. )
They were already a hot band before this ground breaking live performance brought worldwide attention and chart success in coming years..superbly caught!
It says December of 75 and it seemed later like 77 like you said but ogwt has it down to 75 but I've seen them make mistakes with the date before but either way really tight kick-ass band
Never a lip synch from Heart. Took the stage and played it for real. Other less talented bands didn’t have the confidence. Heart took the old grey whistle stop and made it run!
I became a musician because of Heart, I am a singer and songwriter and I am very passionate about the music and influence that this group brought, they are the pioneers, for women in rock, they paved the way, and they gave us all a glimpse of their majesty.
Roger Fisher, you are a huge inspiration to me, and will forever be my favourite member of Heart. Total respect. Love, love love that wild riff you wrote for ‘Crazy On You’ - and yes, I did find the love of my life, Cindy, who is - the total embodiment of that wild & insanely sexy riff!! And that equally sexy interlude just before the last chorus on ‘Crazy On You’ is like - WOW! Like OMG! - so lovely and oh so sensual!! 💓🎸💕
@@FisherBrosandtheHumanTribe ahhh.. But ever a more etherial instrument ? It could emvelop a song i to.tegality. Orchestra in a box...next to lead guitar of course😜
Amazing, impressive, outstanding piece of art! My heart rejoices when i hear greatness like this!
Shit! That's some singing and playing. For all the kids out there.......all live and no autotune.
What a tight band. Altogether solid. And I've always loved how Nancy can make a 6 string acoustic guitar sound like she's playing on a 12 string.
i guess it is kinda off topic but does anybody know a good website to watch newly released tv shows online ?
@Theodore Coen I dunno try Flixportal. just search on google after it :P -dallas

The 1970s golden heyday of classic rock. So many great bands and artists and so much great music. Glad I grew up in this decade.

Are you kidding me! OMG! Nancy could play! Beautiful and Talented! What a lethal combination!
🎸👏🏻😎
WHAT A GREAT PERFORMANCE. AT THE TIME, NANCY HAD ONLY BEEN WITH THE BAND FOR A YEAR. SHE JOINED IN 1974. THANKS FOR POSTING!!

remember this too bought the single crazy on you from record corner in Balham London UK the very next day
I don’t think that we truly appreciated how pitch perfect Ann Wilson was on these vocals, even live. And the harmonies.
Agree and what a front woman too-
I have used auto tune and it makes me sound and it sounds flat, Ann is the best singer in the rock, back when everything was analog , she laid it down perfectly
These are some real talented sisters and their beautiful to boot I love watching the blonde play the guitar
Somewhere it's still raining Nancy Wilson guitar picks.

Love this lineup the best!!!
ME TOO!!!
They were already a hot band before this ground breaking live performance brought worldwide attention and chart success in coming years..superbly caught!
absolutely brilliant.. When they came out with this I was about 14 years old in 1977

We must be getting old cuz I had to go to the Wikipedia and sure enough it was 1975

Love the grey whistle
What a class act they were from the beginning..damn those Wilson sisters are good
Thank you, Roger!
Omg thank you for posting this!!
I loved it!!! Please more like these or rare footages of heart in mid 1976 or 77... 💖
Never a lip synch from Heart. Took the stage and played it for real.

Heart took the old grey whistle stop and made it run!
This is amazing! Thank you Rog ❤️
The band here sure has everyone on full tilt boogie mode.
There's a lot of bands influenced by Led Zeppelin but I think this is the best one.

Absolute Ace!.
awesome
Saw Heart in Missoula Montana the early summer of 76 opening for Jimmy Buffet and Jerry Jeff walker.......On their way up!

Amazing
¡Fantástica!!
The most undervalorated guitarist, Roger Fisher crack!!
ROCK!
I worship Ann
You can almost hear the band's teeth grinding.... holy moses.... lol....
Roger ..did heart ever use a mellotron?
I think so. They were very sensitive and a bit unreliable.
