HEY ROG and MAGIC MAN ! Ya know I LOVYA BRUTHAS ! Always thought this song should have gotten some air time but was too dark for radio back then. The drums and guitar work and timing were just so different from everything else out there with this tune. A FAV of Mine. Wish I could have seen this song live back then. This is such an awesome song and it soooo heavy. I was a you g kid loving the heavy guitar to it. It is really cool to see and hear you guys play my old favorite songs from my favorite era live in concert,. It is especially cool that many are from The Capital Centre in Largo Maryland that was outside of Washington D.C.. which is where I used to see all my favorite bands through the years. I was only 11 and 13 years old during The Little Queen and Dog and Butterfly concerts and we're too young to go with my older sisters and they knew Heart were my guitar heros and fav bands . It's cool watching now though after all these years and seeing the spectacular concerts that I missed. They did being me a cool poster home though.
Yeah this is why I became such a fan. Thanks for a gem. My Marantz and Advents really cranked this one out back in the 70s. Soo heavy and with the girls a mix most heavy bands didn't have. Always been a fan of super heavy metal with feminine vocals, and I admit beauty on stage. Killer formula.
This song, Mistral Wind, and the title cut from Bad Animals are the three most underrated songs in their catalog IMO. BA has some similarities with this musically with some killer Leese guitar and Ann absolutely killing it. In fact I'd say it's the single best tune on either of those big '80s albums (and not coincidentally one of the only tunes written by the band).
A yes Roger.. A gem from the past that laid down the infrastructure of the unmistakable and very unique Heart sound. The wall of sound that transported us to to a new musical soundscape. This song by itself makes Little Queen and Dog & Butterfly possible. Thank you for sharing lost treasures from a "better vanished time". Pardon the Rush Red Barchetta reference, but it fits how I feel about Heart's original lineup.
Magazine was not a favorite album of mine when it first came out but it did have some jem's like this on there. I don't remember seeing it live? I think that would have sold me on it sooner.
This is just the bomb man! Heart could've gone in this direction entirely and been tops in this hard, acid, deep, dark rock. Speaking of acid, there's no way you all could play this tune without being a ....little....influenced by some goods. I imagine anyway.

I saw many concerts there in late '80's when I lived in MD. Also saw a lot of concerts at the Merriweather Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD.
