I hated going to school with 6's 😂 5w4 here! I used to show up to class 10 minutes before the class started, the teacher would loom over me at my desk and watch me do the math homework. He laughed as he took it and graded it on the spot. He said he had never met anyone with my obnoxious audacity, then hand back my homework with a 100 marked on it. Then the bell would ring.
It was also not fun being a six at schooL 😂- so glad I’m older and a healthier six now (also I grew out of being a real teachers pet by like year 8, it was more I didn’t get the social rules of not reminding the teacher especially when the teachers would know this and ask me to remind them- like I thought it was just the right thing to do). But my wing 7 (and the fact I’m an ENFP) would mean I am very talkative, hyper, easily distractible and enthusiastic- my hand was always up. I also needed clarification on like everything because I didn’t want to do something wrong and get yelled at or told off or just get into trouble which still sometimes happened anyway. I mean some of that is influenced by my type 1w2 mum who is basically my inner critic and is critical because she has high standards, and as an ENFP it was harder to meet them. I like to know what people expect of me so I can meet those expectations lol
I am a 4 and I can totally relate to this. My mum used to worry about me for procrastinating with homework just because I was not in the mood. Also, the amount of time I have spent on researching about ‘useless’ topics is insane 😂

The memory I have as an 8w9 student: - *treat my teachers like I treat basically everyone, equally* - “No sir/mam. I don’t wanna go outside. Ask me the problems and I can give you its answers” - “but what about the other methods sir/mam?” - “Passing your love notes? Pffff silly. Fine, I’ll give it to them, but you owe me an ice cream.” - “Why are you guys circling around me? You’re blocking my way too class” - “Why did you pulling my hair? Is this a new game? Can I play it with you too?” - “Pardon mam/sir, student B,C,D destroy my textbook so I can read the passage.” - “Oh you’re bullying me? I didn’t know. For real, I didn’t know that! Thanks for telling me” - “Stop right there. What are you guys trynna do to my friend hm? Can you leave?! Or do I have to force you to?!” - “Oh I see… Are you guys trynna bully me? What are you gonna do? Cornering me or smth?” - “Hey where are you going? I thought you’re gonna bully me?” - “Yes, of course I know. I’m perfectly aware that they have been talking trash behind my back…. So? So what? Why would I give a damn of such cowards? Pfff I’ll keep my focus on improving myself while they keep their focus on me and losing sight of themselves.”
I'm a 2, and this is sooo accurate! I would sign up to three music lessons a week, all the sports clubs that existed, orchestras, drama clubs, random clubs my friends were in... you can see where this is headed 😅🤣 I literally couldn't help it, and I'd drag my friends along too 😂 One of my more introverted friends once told me that it seems to her that I know everybody in the entire school - and idk.... maybe she was right? 🤣
I am a 5w6…but school is the ONLY PLACE where my 4 side shows up. Distracted by all the things, brought in random cool (to me) stuff that I would mess with during class, wrote in my journal during class, never did the given paper topics because I thought they were too boring…and this was in college.
As a 9 I would like to add the following skit: Becky: Are you new here? 9: Becky, we were in the same classes all of last year. Did you forget? Becky: How do you know my name? Who are you anyway!?
Wow, your acting and storywriting skills have become quite stellar! I was mistyped for a while and couldn't really relate deeply with the sketches, but watched everything anyway for the high quality effort. I've recently been correctly typed, and rewatching the videos now has been like looking into a mirror that shows me my growth edges, and the parts of myself that I haven't yet learned to love.
8w7 and that was definitely true for younger me (k-8 only); I was either actively engaged in class and protesting the curriculum; or skipping class and protesting school policies.
I admit I like that the videos just go straight into each enneagram. I do enjoy the interludes describing each enneagram but the jokes explain each enneagram number enough and going straight into them makes the jokes funnier. XD
Accurate! As a 5, if I did my homework, I expect u to take it in immediately (leaning into 6), but if I didn't, just pass me by (leaning into 4). Also, I def want a pet snake so bad! It's like a mobile plant with the heat lamp and detailed care needed!
“It took me three months to find the right gel pens with the right aesthetic and functionality.” So accurate. 😆 Also, school supply shopping was always my favorite time of year, and now as an adult I love shopping for office supplies.

I'm a 9 and I laughed a lot in the blankie part XD. I've a blankie since when i born (I have 18 years old now) and I always smell it the same way you did in the video. I dont know why but I love the smell of my blankie
I sounded like 4 n 9 at school. And 7 n 8 sounded like a lot of the bullies in my school and classroom. The thing is I went through 22 years of abuse at home not just one type of abuse. So I know what it is liel to suffered the consequences the torture and abuse by parents who act like children and take out their selfishness on a child. So I know also how it feels to empathise and wish for others to take responsibility and do the right thing and consider others feelings. So I'm not sure if it is me being a 9 or me having experiences that developed those areas. I also had things thrown off me and was hugely bullied. Sadly too because now this video made me realise that many of my bullies were privileged. Some that I already know of were spot pampered and adored at home. One has rich parents and got lavished on. Family love even today in our adulthood never ceases for her. So while I was bullied and went home to abuse and severe human tights restrictions n neglect n imprisonment n slavery etc. Even while I was a loving giving empathetic caring child but always treated the opposite. My abuse n parents were like the Witch in the modern Disney tangled and having other Disney's mixed up such as Cinderella and etc... The only time I was allowed outside was accompanied by my baby brother or to go to shop or school or church. N my narc mother made sure that anyone at church and school saw me in a negative light and treated me harshly too she spread smear campaigns to defammine my name character etc. So I'd be treat with abuse outside home. She also made sure school and church reported back to her about my every activity. So easy for a narc to spy on good kids by claiming they are bad kids. This I now believe in adulthood was to prevent me from ever speaking out about the abuse. That was her biggest fear. She didn't want me at school or church either but said she'd be jailed if I didn't go to school n she'd b judged at church if I didn't go t church. I was her property even at 17 turning 18. Rights n abuse got worse violated as I grew older the more independen minded and self awareness took over the more I was considered a threat and got labelled disrespectful and disobedient even though I done everything told or asked of me and obeyed even though it was unfair. Whenever I said it was unfair I thought I was just not handling what I deserved properly but in fact looking back. The abuse was not fair. Smothering hoovering gaslighting verbally abusive bullying physically abusive etc etc parents were not fair either. It just baffles me that while I'm bullied at school and kids envied me for how skinny I was trying to trash my name by spreading that I was homeless and eat in a cardboard box. They had all the freedom and priveleged at home. I shoulda been envious of them. They went to cinemas got to gro wings and have feelings and thoughts of their own. Got to go after their dreams ambitions choices. All the things that were considered a threat to my abusive parents. All the things that got me severe mistreated. I went home even at 17 to no bedroom no brush no comb no shoes little clothes boys hand me downs because my abusive parent felt threatened about me being a female or envious either way. I recieved far too many boys toys as a kid and told I was not a girl. But a boy. Too many times as a child. Also told at 7 when I grew breasts then I'll be a girl. My mother was clearly competitive with her own child. Completely baffles me still today. I had abuse constantly verbally bullying name calling hitting biting hair pulling all while I'm trying to do my homework at the table. Because I had no where else to go lounge with my mother was my prison. Or else I'd be put to work from evening after school until late at night. Or have homework ripped up in front of me. My mother never wanted me doing homework. And my step dad did not want anything belonging to me or the school at home. He use to put my homework in the bin. He would also regularly visit the school and talk ill of me. And he would make sure I wouldnt get homework exam papers art work etc home. I still had them home anyway. Going to school meant getting away from all that torture day in and day out but also meant abuse at school too. My best escape was of course my summer holidays to my dads. Only holidays we ever got. My mother also claimed they were holidays and we won't ever go on another one. Because seeing my dad and siblings something a child that was taken from a loving parent by law has a right to see whenever they liked or even more regularly even monthly be better. But mother would say it is a priveleged and it was not a right need etc but a holiday only and since we had done that holiday we were never allowed a real holiday. Or to see family any other time. Anyway it is just crazy thinking now Other kids had normal homes and normal upbringing or even loving ones and lavished ones. I wonder what that would have been like.
2 here and I can relate (though, my 1 wing shows big time and I can relate to that, too!) I would write my notes to friends in my colored gel pens. ;-)
I am a 5w6 but due to undiagnosed ADHD, I spent most of my childhood and into my 20s acting like an unhealthy 7 (who liked to read a lot). I hated school because I did not like being forced to learn on somebody elses schedule.
Not really sure which one I was more like as a kid. All I know is that I probably was very awkward being the only tomboy, introverted, Asian girl in my small class. Not the most self-awareness and I had the issue of not knowing or caring about the social game. Oh boy.
Altough I'm a 4, I'm the teacher's pet in my class. I have maximalist tendencies combining procastination, but I usually do my homework despite mood or whatever. My teachers wonder when I don't do it. 😅 But I learn/read something else besides school too, so that part resonated with me.
I enjoyed this video. I'm trying to remember the first week of school, but it was so long ago that I can't remember anything specific. I know I dreaded going back after summer. I think my plan was to do my work, mind my own business, and hope I could find a safe place where people wouldn't bother me. For various reasons, it rarely worked out that way. I’m a 9, but I guess my 8 wing was showing in school. I was a troublemaker because I was bored and thought some of the teachers hadn’t earned my respect. 😅 As a grad student now I tend to be more mellow, but as soon as I’m forced to do something that I think is pointless I slip back into that troublemaker role lol… just more subtly this time!
Thank you for doing these vids :) they're very entertaining and amazingly educational. I work with the homeless and it would help me so much if you can do a video on how to deal with conflict with the different enneagram types. I feel I had the most difficulty with type 4s, 6s, and 8s >.
I retook the test. My last results (last 6 months) was like this: 1. 5 (most dominant) 2. 1 3. 6 4. 3 5. 9 6. 2 7. 8 8. 7 9. 4 Now it's like this. 1. 1 (most dominant) 2. 5 3. 6 4. 3 5. 9 6. 7 7. 8 8. 4 9. 2 It seems like my Type 2 traits have become least dominant.
My guess is you probably are a 5wing6 since the wings of a 1 (9 and 2) are pretty low. I would recommend checking out the enneagram institutes website and reading about the 5 and the 5w6 and seeing if that sounds like you :)
Type1 and I was a hall monitor when I was in 5th grade and I got to take the flag down at the end of the day...not sure if I was just young or I was often moving to 7 but I got fired as a hall monitor for playing too much and running around with the flag 🤣whoops
Teacher: So the test will be two Fridays from now... Me: I need to leave early that class for volleyball Teacher: Ok, let's move it to next Friday then Me: I actually have to leave early for this other club... Teacher: Ok why don't you do it the Thursday before? Me: I'm really sorry but I have my drama club practice then... Teacher: ... Why don't you see me after class to work out another time... ~Type 2😅
As a 6 I was that kid- unfortunately. For me it was always like social rules have never made any sense. I have my own rules that I follow to a fault. But then it was the rules of like school and my parents because those are clearly stated and so were the consequences (though I did go to lawyer mode if I thought the teacher was being unfair) and so was never rebellious and was a teachers pet because I was a perfectionist and a people pleaser who liked the rules because I could be sure I wasn’t going to break them. But also if a teacher asked me a direct question I didn’t want to lie- also would just blurt stuff out without thinking (I still do at times) but also it makes a a not so great combo with me being an ENFP 6w7 so/sp
As a type one I keep those thoughts in my head...I don't think abt my GPA. Type 7 is funny...I sound like type 8 here because some days the longer I stay out of class the better
I'm a 9 and I ALWAYS GOT HIT IN THE FACE BY THINGS IN HIGH SCHOOL (wads of paper intended for someone else, water bottles, basketballs). WHAT IS WITH THAT?! Also why are people just throwing things in the first place?!? 🤣

Altough I'm a 4, I'm the teacher's pet in my class. I have maximalist tendencies combining procastination, but I usually do my homework despite mood or whatever. My teachers wonder when I don't do it. 😅
But I learn/read something else besides school too, so that part resonated with me.

I enjoyed this video. I'm trying to remember the first week of school, but it was so long ago that I can't remember anything specific. I know I dreaded going back after summer. I think my plan was to do my work, mind my own business, and hope I could find a safe place where people wouldn't bother me. For various reasons, it rarely worked out that way. I mostly remember the feeling of trying to get through the day without something terrible happening, which is, interestingly, kind of how I feel about my job now. 6w5
This is accurate down to the outfit choices!! Haha as a 4 I definitely always found some sort of moral or ethical reason to not do certain assignments... LOL just read the freaking book, you're in school! Hahaha this is real ...

As a 5w6 who has kept snakes for most of my life (the focus primarily being pythons/constrictors), I had a good chuckle at this.

I’m a 9, but I guess my 8 wing was showing in school. I was a troublemaker because I was bored and thought some of the teachers hadn’t earned my respect. 😅 As a grad student now I tend to be more mellow, but as soon as I’m forced to do something that I think is pointless I slip back into that troublemaker role lol… just more subtly this time!

Thank you for doing these vids :) they're very entertaining and amazingly educational. I work with the homeless and it would help me so much if you can do a video on how to deal with conflict with the different enneagram types. I feel I had the most difficulty with type 4s, 6s, and 8s >.

My last results (last 6 months) was like this:
1. 5 (most dominant)

Now it's like this.
1. 1 (most dominant)

9. 2
It seems like my Type 2 traits have become least dominant.
My guess is you probably are a 5wing6 since the wings of a 1 (9 and 2) are pretty low. I would recommend checking out the enneagram institutes website and reading about the 5 and the 5w6 and seeing if that sounds like you :)
Type1 and I was a hall monitor when I was in 5th grade and I got to take the flag down at the end of the day...not sure if I was just young or I was often moving to 7 but I got fired as a hall monitor for playing too much and running around with the flag 🤣whoops

As a 6 I was that kid- unfortunately. For me it was always like social rules have never made any sense. I have my own rules that I follow to a fault. But then it was the rules of like school and my parents because those are clearly stated and so were the consequences (though I did go to lawyer mode if I thought the teacher was being unfair) and so was never rebellious and was a teachers pet because I was a perfectionist and a people pleaser who liked the rules because I could be sure I wasn’t going to break them. But also if a teacher asked me a direct question I didn’t want to lie- also would just blurt stuff out without thinking (I still do at times) but also it makes a a not so great combo with me being an ENFP 6w7 so/sp
