I *love* him as an umpire. The longer he umps, the faster the development of the A.I. to replace him. Seriously, we have the tech to track the ball... we don't need to rely on the eyes/reflexes of some old man.
he makes a complete embarrassment of baseball. The one at 1:17 to Wyatt Langford doesn't even tell half the story..not even half..he called 3 in a row that were 2 feet outside. It was FAR and AWAY the worst thing I have ever seen an umpire do. He did it just for spite. If I tune in and see he is part of the game I tune right back out.

The only way to get the MLB's attention to fire Angel is; after the 1st pitch of any game he is Umpiring (at any base) the ENTIRE crowd chants "Angel Sucks!" as long and loud as they can. Just like the WWE fan participation!
People would come to games he's umpiring just to do this, and ticket sales would go up, and they'd put him in more games because of it. What people need to do is walk out, leave the game and demand refunds. Issue chargebacks if no refund is issued.
Not to mention that all teams of games in which he’s to be an umpire need to start to refuse to take the field. Sure, at first, MLB would just give both teams forfeits, but as times goes on, things will begin to change. Hey, non-violent civil disobedience worked once. It can work again.

However the fault is the system and it's management for allowing this to continue and not resolving the problem. For the games sake make a stand and an executive decision. Never let the man step onto a baseball field under the guise of an umpire ever again by quoting ineptitude and a failure to produce minimum required results. If he sues, so be it. If he wins, pay it. The game is far more important that this individual. Do whatever it takes to get rid of this unwanted stain on the great game of baseball...
