Wondering how much weight it can hold to secure it from any sort of wind.. We all know our friend 'Wind' loves to join us for our photoshoots.
As you saw you can put a light on it so just keep one on there and that’s a couple pounds
I like it. I’m tempted to get it. I would love to see an entire video of the set up and take down time. It also looks like a huge kite. How does it hold up against wind? And I’m happy to see a well respected photographer like Sal Sincotta get his name on a product. I had enough of these UA-cam influencers names on products. Why would a photographer advertise another photgrapher? And where’s is Sals stamp on the product?

The part I didn’t get was installing the spikes at the end of the extension legs!
At 0:46 you can clearly see someone holding it.. Makes sense, that's a big sail after all 😂
you see someone holding it because the model is elevated on a tree (also in the shot) and the direction of light should not come from below the subject - so my assistant raised it to get the direction of light right. if you watch the entire video - im literally on a beach. the unit comes with stakes - which we used in a windy environment to hold the unit down without issue.

I don't understand how this lightweight, windsail of a modifier does not fly off into the ocean in a light breeze. It even looks like it's about to fly off in this promo video.
It comes with 3 ground stakes to keep it secure! In higher wind situations, you may still want an assistant to hold it if you can't safely stake it down.
It doubles as a parachute 😉

Not April Fools haha! The dimensions of this product are slightly more compact than our standard X-Drop model. However, it has been engineered to offer enhanced performance in reflecting, blocking, and modifying light, ensuring superior functionality for professional applications.
I believe the companies that develop photography accessories are truly running out of ideas. LOL
