I remember when Dust came out as a game for gold on the xbox360 years ago and I enjoyed every minute of it. The art style, story, and gameplay drew me in and kept me there from start to finish. Awesome list, I’ll definitely check out some of these games 👍

I picked it up then and again on steam. Sadly I didn't play through it. Wishing for a sale on switch so I can play it on the go! Such a beautiful game.

Dust is amazing.
My first time playing "Dust: An Elysian Tail" was on the Xbox 360, which definitely appealed to me due to it being a game with anthropomorphic animal characters, and I'm always looking for newer games with those types of characters because I find them to be a lot more appealing than pretty much every anime-style human character found in most games nowadays.
Can confirm. Lost Ruins is great. Starts off difficult and slow paced at first but your own power level really pops off in the late game.
I actually picked Dust: An Elysian Tale up about a week ago prior to watching this, and yea, it's pretty great so far. I haven't gotten that deep into yet, but the fluidity of the combat and art style is really eye-catching. Wasn't expecting the full voice acting either.
Evil Tonight seems like one I'd enjoy too, so thanks for pointing that out. That might be the next one I'll be checking out!

Cathedral is a super challenging but really satisfying game to play. I can't explain it. The dungeons are intricate and puzzling as heck but really rewarding to get through. The boss fights are kinda insane but are some of the best bosses I've fought in awhile. I'm still working through it though lol. 🔥 Thanks for another hidden gems list!

Dust is a great game, it has aged very well for a game that came out back in August 2012, made by a single person, you can see the love put into it by Dodrill.
I played dust, it was a very fun game! Loved the art, loved the voice acting especially, the combat was excellently fluid, and there were some nice challenges in a variety of ways. And the hidden secrets were also fun to find.
So happy for another video from you - I've said this a few times on other videos, but I love your passion and overall positive vibe. You're a breath of fresh air and, along with Johnny Millenium, are on my list of creators to watch without question!

I love Touhou Luna Nights. It is one of the most impressive Touhou fan games out there. So happy to see it mentioned here.
My favorite hidden gem has got to be Battle Chef Brigade. It's not a Switch exclusive or anything, but it's such an amazing game.

The most striking thing about most of these games is the pixel art. Pixel art shall never die! as long as there indies for me to discover.

Evil tonight was actually how you described it. The devs channel are still responsive over people commenting on their game trailer! It was an excellent experience despite having short playtime. Wish a sequel could appear. Their other games are interesting as well!

I played Dust, dude! It came out on the PS3 as a free game one month, and I picked it up and couldn't put it down! Fantastic! and, I think, way ahead of its time

I've been looking at Sword of the Vagrant for a while now, maybe I'll finally take the plunge
Wow, even more games I've never heard of before, it seems endless. Lost Ruins looks cool and Sword of the Vagrants art style really has me intrigued. Gotta Protectors NES style looks makes me want it too.

Hang on, Touhou Luna Nights looks very familiar... I'm guessing this was made by the same devs as "Record of Lodoss War: Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth"? Because the art style and HUD look almost identical.
Gotta Protectors on the Switch? Say no more! I love it a lot on the 3DS, so I know that I will love it even more on the Switch, and you get new characters to play as. Instant buy for me.

You missed a game by Inti Creates and how they’re doing a spin-off of the Gal Gun games with the 2 sisters that are demon slayers and it plays like a Metroidvania game or similar to Record of Lodoss War -Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth. Just as a heads up I believe Playasia is offering it as a physical game.

Oh dang, Sword of the Vagrant is preorderable on PlayAsia too? Just checked and it seems to be planned to release June 2nd. I bought the game for $0.80 on Steam on a nutty sale, but I’d still love a physical copy of it for Switch. Once again, thank you for keeping us updated on the game 😁👍.

Nice picks and some of them are also Switch-only. I'd get Sword of the Vagrant on another platform though, since the Switch version runs at 30 FPS with lots of hiccups in the later game. That's also too bad, because I wanted to have a physical copy of that game.

Evil tonight looks interesting, I'm not usually into that kind of horror or survival games but this one may be a good way to get into them more.
Panzer Paladin looks super fun and I love that kind of game.
All the other games look super interesting as well and I'll be adding them to my neverending list, but the 2 that I was more attracted to were Lost Ruins and Jack Move. Gorgeous artstyle and graphics and look super entertaining and I really want to play them. I'll add them to my priority list (very long list though 😭).

You hit me with a Rush of nostalgia I played and 100% completed, Dust an Elysian Tail back in 2011 that and Skyrim where are my Christmas presents for the year, back the Xbox 360 crazy how it's been more than a decade sense I've played this hidden gem of a game. If the rumors are true from what I remember the entire game from the world, art style coding, even down to the music was all made by *ONE GUY* truly impressive 👏 glad the game is no longer a Xbox 360 exclusive so I can play it one more time

I saw that Sword of the Vagrant is actually on sale on switch digitally right now so I’ll probably grab it. Right up my alley! I’ve heard nothing but love for Panzer Paladin. And I can see now why people love it! What even is kawai Deathu Desu?! Hahah I love the idea! Dude! Dust is a phenomenal game! Completed this one a few years back and loved it so much! I played on Xbox and steam. May have to grab it again on switch. DUDE! Diabolical Mind! You already know how much I love Demons Tier and Riddled Corpses! Hope we get more from them soon! I'll have to look into Sword of the Vagrant. I got 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim because you swore up and down on its quality, so I relented, and I gotta say that that game blew me away. I wasn't halfway through my playthrough when it entered my list of top five favorite games.

Man I bought Touhou Lunar Nights on the Xbox and Steam, I love this game and I'm not really a Castlevania fan.
It never seems to fail, each time I watch one of your videos I find something that I at least wish list on Switch to pick up later. Sword of Vagrant is unbelievably underrated! Personally mostly into rpgs, but happy to try out games you suggest. Keep up the good work and game on!

Oh, Gris is one I'm playing now....its just beautiful and the visuals & movement animations are something to marvel at. A wordless story that speaks volumes about grief, loss and the fortitude to accept. Short game...
