Shot On iPhone + Moment Anamorphic Lens // Prague

Not so long ago I took a trip to Prague deciding to leave the Pro DSLR (Canon 1DX at home to see if the iPhone was up to the task. It's a totally different video to what I would normally put together but overall I'm very impressed.
90% of this was all handheld & with the Moment Anamorphic Lens and the rest on the Osmo Mobile.

Euronews has small mobile live teams that are just a journalist, his/her Iphone, mic and a tripod

How did you make this video fullscreen with minimal black bars? When I upload my anamorphic footage with their lens, my fullscreen gets some black bars on the left and right sides even though the aspect ratio is still 16:9.

Frank Thamma Hey mate, so it’s not 16/9, that’s your problem, take the footage from the moment app stretch it in post by 1.33 and make sure the sequence settings are the same, then export & upload 👍

@@VideoCameron Thanks for your response! Sorry but I don't think I'm understanding what you mean. I've already de-squeezed the anamorphic footage by 1.33. I just don't know how to "stretch" the footage so that it takes up the screen like yours, instead of having black bars.

Frank Thamma it depends on the sequence and export resolution you need to chop the top and bottom off by decreasing the vertical high of the sequence frame.
