    Love this workout, Stacy! It's a complete body workout. You are my favorite UA-camr! One tip for anyone with a backyard pool - I wanted to be able to see your videos on a bigger screen, so I bought a rolling TV cart that I can watch from the pool. It's easy to roll in and out and now my friends from the neighborhood can join me for workouts. We are big fans. Thank you so much for all the effort you put into creating the professional quality videos you produce!!

    I really appreciate this vid because when I learned aqua from AEA and AFAA, we were more into combos vs. HIIT or FIIT.
    I used to teach a kickboxing class on land and modified it to an aqua kickboxing-type routine to an 8-minute song just for myself.
    I went back to teaching today after a 13-year hiatus from teaching fitness, not only aqua, but also high-low and step.
    I also went back to teaching after not only losing appx 119# (I was 257# in 2015), but had a hip replacement in Dec. 2021 and a knee replacement in June 2022.
    Aqua instructors are such a niche type of instructor, because we not only don't get the kind of workout you'd get with other modalities, but the only workout we'd get is a LOT of sweat and some potential joint issues, teaching on cement.
    It can be uncomfortably hot and humid, you don't have the luxury of getting into the water, and teaching adequate fitness movements in water are 'WAY different than ANY workouts on land!
    Your workout is definitely going to help me tomorrow night for my 2nd class. It'll be so much easier to do what I format I know (kickboxing) AND with pretty neat combos, vs. trying to shove other moves higgldy-piggldy in a workout.

      Yes, it is tough being an aqua instructor teaching on deck...that is why I enjoy doing videos so I can actually be in the water some of the time. 😊

    Does wearing water weights on the ankles and wrist help burn calories?

      Yes, any added resistance will challenge the body more. It will help to burn more calories and build muscle. Be sure to be capable of the moves prior to adding any other equipment as the water resistance alone can be very challenging. Have fun!

    I really appreciate the in-water cam! Helps so much. Eons ago i took and eventually led an aqua workout but it was lower intensity. Recently got a pool and want to use it but kick it up a notch...esp bc i still have back issues that make regular kickboxing tough. Ty!

    This was amazing! I love the warm up and cool down in it! Thank you for including them! This was fun and tough all at the same time!

    I hv bad knee. Can I bend my leg all the time when doing these workout

      Hi! If you have a bad knee, you should consult your doctor and let them know they type of exercise you are planning on doing and ask them if it would be suitable for your knee condition. Asking your doctor is always recommended if you aren't sure.

    Honestly I think 80% of the workout view can be done underwater because that is where all the movement is happening. Also what shoes are you wearing? Do you have a link for the shoes and gloves or a discount code, where you get credit if we use it? Thank you.
