I got this Frieza for only 17$ at my local Walmart! As well as the goku black and SSJ awakening Vegeta for 17$ each. Quite the deals. But man, he did you dirty bringing up that keno hand. Too soon 😢

This is the figure that got me into DBZ SHF. It's awesome to get such an iconic character done so well at an entry level price. It's a shame that full power Frieza won't be replicating the shiny purple of this release
I like the metallic, but a flat color is technically more accurate. I would be happy either way
If anything, pull a Toei and just say the difference is because Frieza glows different when at full power
I've watched DBZ and GT in both versions, though I prefer dub to sub. I like Bruce Faulconers themes, but I think I prefer the original Japanese score overall.
Original Japanese soundtrack all the way, and subbed for me! But you can't really go wrong, can you? 🤙🏾

I loved the American Dub with the Bruce Faulconer music. When I watch DBZ, I have to watch it that way. Nice work on the review!

As well as he has aged compared to his peers, I'm really still wishing for a 2.0 version down the line/soon. They could make a better version of him, and right now, he just kind of looks out of place compared to all the other more modern releases they made of him starting with First Form Frieza and continuing with Second Form Frieza and Third Form Frieza last year, and Mecha and 100%/Buff Frieza this year.
It seems that eventually they remake everything. I would rather have some new characters though

it's pretty cheap on marketplace or in facebook groups, a guy called john chan has it for £38, i got the second release with the blast effects for £48 from him (and a bunch of other figures but yeah)

I prefer the previous one because it comes with everything this one has but alternate tail and death lasers

😅you forgot it was 3 sagas including ressurection F when he was in final form but for the full power final form figure if your saving up you could buy the figurerise Frieza model kit and just color and shade him the way you like he scales well with sh figuarts

Dubbed. I love the dub cast so much. Although I watched all of Super as it released and it made me love the original voice cast a lot as well. I think I’m in the rare group that likes the US falconer music better than the Japanese music in the 90s. But I sure love the new Japanese score!

Golden frieza has had 2 releases already an original and a event exclusive. Unfortunately they dont scale well and they mad him way smaller than 4th form. Although still a decent figure hes not worth the price point its going for now though because accessories are minimal

it's kinda sad that at least imo only the very first frieza release with the rock has an accurate purple, even to anime or manga z and super. the second release and this one are both pretty inaccurate. seems like full power frieza's purple isn't going to be like right either.
