In 1994 while living in Dar es Salaam, Temeke-Yombo street suddenly we received one big somali family that had landed in the City. The family had no income or any money to sustain itself. In short they had nothing to eat but they had a place to live. They came to our house to ask for help. My mom had a special heart (RIP), she took over the responsibility to feed them and my dad become a very good friend to the man and his family. After a short time they got a way to survive. Ten years later the family was successful through business. They even helped dad when he was in his bankrupcy time. The struggle is resl men!

Faarah Aden this sort of business can prevail throughout Somalia...as the buyers will buy from any given country. It's just a state of the art storage to transfer food products from African farmers to international markets. So in reality every city should have at least one of these companies.

Many Somalian people have come to Tanzania have nothing. Or very little but thanks to Tanzanian people for our generosity. Is the reason they are there today. This family i knew come from Somaly with may be very little. Most of the money and succes they have found there in Tanzania
