  • The 1st of some future videos showing my Star Trek collection.
I've been collecting since the 70's so you'll see some vintage items as well as many that are recent. There's everything from prop replicas to action figures, uniforms, model kit's, books, magazines and everything in between! Enjoy :)

Those TOS phasers are by FAR the best replicas I have ever seen! I have not doubt they are considerably better than what they were filming with making the series. So jealous!

I love the phaser from the original series. I remember somewhere that somebody connected to startrek said that the plate at the front was original meant to be a mini force field that would surround the person with a light when it was activated. I dont think it was ever used though. But your explanation sounds better. Beautiful collection.

Great idea to show your collection, Boyd. Very cool.
I also have both of The Wand Company's Start Trek items. They're incredible! Thanks for mentioning that they're building a tricorder.
*Hidden sound on the communicator. If you press the left button and hold the right button up for an extended period you'll hear Kirk.
The phaser is also an infrared remote control.

I did the same thing this past summer. Decided it was silly to have ALL these items in boxes. I went through them all and picked out the "Gem's" to put in display cases. I had I much i started putting cases in my office at work.
    Love your collection.

Pretty cool. Unfortunately, I only have one room in my house for displaying stuff and it's full of my models so back in the box for my Trek stuff after I go through it all.

A really nice set of prop replicas. Thanks for sharing and explaining the features on each.I bet that the prop master Irving Feinberg from T.O.S. would have been envious of the high quality of these! Looking forward to seeing more of your collection.

That was weird, for just a second the insert pic with the tricorders looked like three Marshall stack amps, my guess is someone played guitar on that ship.

Thanks for sharing. I have the wand communicator and the metal grill that flips open has a very slight rattle which is really annoying, I don’t know if it’s just mine or whether they’re all like it, or whether it can be fixed, but apart from that it is a top quality product. The plastic and foam case it comes in is also worth a mention because it is awesome.

Mine are stored in pieces in a bag . Flip phones came and went and was never installed into the communicator shell . My tricorder was a $69 kit from a convention in '93 about . It has 3 blinking leds . You need to be smart for it to tell you everything you need to know .
