I just bought the exact Yoga 2-in-1 (Lenovo Days SUPER discount of 600€ of a 2100€ 32GB RAM + 1TB SSD) and received yesterday. So far the flaws are:
    1) BATTERY:. Regular use is maybe 7 to 8 hours. I had to download the LEnovo Advantage App to change the power settings to optimal and silent.
    2) NOISE: noise was not bad but it got WAY BETTER when I changed to silent mode.
    3) HEAT: It was hot (I live in Spain in mid summers so we have 30ºcelcius during nights). But got much better when I did the power saving and silent mode.
    3) TABLET MODE: the tablet mode works but it didnt autorotate. The drivers to make it work must be downloaded from the Advantage App. When I did the autorotate worked!

Good review. FYI: this is available with 32 g of memory if you order directly from Lenovo...and it's presently on sale (Lenovo Canada). The Lenovo 7 you reviewed is also on sale. I ordered one yesterday.

Also: the Lenovo 7 2 in 1 has a screen option on the website. You can choose a low resolution OLED display.

Agree. Lenovo has gimped their yoga products this year by putting 16gb on it. Also noticed your temps are always low on your reviews, what is the ambient temp of the room?

Thanks for showing the screendoor effect. And in a few years this screen will start getting burn-ins, while before that it will start losing it's brightness. OLEDs are basically a self-destructing garbage. Ah, right, next step - pixels will just start dying :D
That's how "screen subscription" looks like :D Very good for companies to push this rotting technology, so user will need a quicker upgrade or out-of-warranty screen replacement :D

Oled screens should be only an opyion but they are not suitable for productivity or artworks so far. But the hype is yalla lets get a beautiful oled screen and most of this year laptops and monitors are oled! I still think the mini led is way better except for gaming maybe. I prefer mini led for such laptop.

We need to start pushing back as consumers with regards to disposable electronics.......they do not need to make stuff this way.....take a look at frameworks laptops. A good start would be for youtube reviewers to refuse doing reviews on stuff thats not repairable or upgradable.

    • @wheezel55

And therefore they'd make reviews on a few indie products and make no content nor any money so that's just not viable

To me the issues is the keyboard - those shortcut keys on the right are just going to get in the way. And the 16GB of RAM is a deal breaker.

You have to go smaller with these. The larger screen model is too heavy for a 2-1. You also lose the ten key and since it's not for gaming it's like what?

    • @dv2045
