My cousin was there this winter. Asked her what the island looked like and she told me she didn’t know. She never went off of their all inclusive. Happy to have finally seen what Isla Mugeres looks like. Thx
so happy for Alina❤️❤️❤️ and yes, rest is super important!!! I think it's incredible you've been traveling for 6 months! I can imagine that takes a toll though ❤️ xo
Another EPIC video! Your underwater footage of the sea turtles was outstanding. Felt like I was watching a professional ocean documentary on Discovery. Looking forward to the next one- aka the grand finale of underwater adventure trilogy from Mexico 😁🇲🇽
This place is beautiful and so are you! So I look at the place and I look at you, again and again! Thank you for sharing a beautiful place and your beautiful smile😉🥰
Your tan is coming along nicely, really good to see you enjoying yourself. I was there in the late 80s, things were very different then, which is of course to be expected
Alina, I’ve been following your journey and have enjoyed your wit and beautiful smile for the past six months. I was only on a day trip to Isla Mujeres. We golf carted to the south end but did not see anything like you did. I need to go back and stay awhile for sure. I very much enjoyed your encounter with the sea turtles too. Thank you for your great videos and bringing a smile to my face. You are full of fun indeed. Safe journey back home in Alberta. Stay safe. Tim, Phoenix, Arizona.
Alina, thank you for being my tour personal guide. I like your knowledgeable honest opinion, and tips on sites you have visited. I have enjoyed all your travel videos. Please keep them coming. I enjoy them so very much. Thank you.
So very beautiful!! Mexico in many ways is quite underrated. It's a wee gem, it really is. There's so much history, culture abound, not to mention, beauty & interesting stuff to do and see. If only we open our eyes and take a deeper look. The people are so lovely too & many Mexican women, as is commonplace all across South America, are so physically beautiful. Such lovely features/faces and genetics abound. It reminds me of why the South American women, almost always come 1st place in the Miss World pageants, or they certainly did year after year in previous years. Thanks for sharing Alina and all the best to you. Peace
Your Latin American series has been great. Brazil was my favorite and this video is fantastic. One thing that I come to realize is that your smile at the beginning of each video puts me in a good mood. You have a genuine great smile. Some therapists will tell you that even if you don't feel like it, try to smile at least 3-4 times a day. The process of physically creating a smile works on your brain to release endorphins that will help you improve your mood. In your case, actively watching your video and seeing you smile at the beginning makes a difference. Thank you and keep it up.
Super well done video as always Alina🌞👍 Great that you saw the turtels also😊 Hope you having some nice time in Vancouver, saw your livestream from there afterwards✌️ Take care Alina 😊 🤗// Jonas 🇸🇪
Amazing place Alina! Really a Paradise,! Your travel through South America was fantastic and thanks to your videos we had the opportunity to visit such gorgeous sites, like this marvellous island, a real icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing this beautiful video with us
Hi Alina! 😄🙏👋🌟 I hope your having a excellent day! This is really a beautiful marvelous fantastic video! 😄👍❤️👏🇲🇽📹🏝🏖🤿🐢🐠🥇💯💫✨🌟 Isla Mujeres looks really amazing and the view of the beach is marvelous! The underwater footage of the sea turtles looks so magnificent! It’s truly outstanding! I would definitely like to visit Isla Mujeres one day. It’s really a marvelous place! Thank you so much Alina to share with us this fantastic super excellent video. You are the best and greatest world traveler adventurer in the world! 😃👍👏✈️🌎🧳🗺🥇💯🏆✨🌟 I wish you Alina a wonderful beautiful glorious blessed day. Take care and be safe Alina. 😊🙏❤️👋👍✨🌟
Hello, Alina. Such a lovely place. The snorkeling with sea turtles in the ocean was incredible. The whole experience was amazing. Great job. Can't wait for the whale shark next. =)
What an awesome place to visit Alina and definitely worth adding to the list if going to Cancun. Looking forward to your next and I presume last video from Mexico.
Your photography work is so professional, I am sure I have never been more impressed. Of course, I guess it has something to do with being on the Isle of Women, you think?? ))))) Alina, thanks for sharing, a once again activity that you always share what you see. You are right on in everything you learned here and one other note, is to use the sea sickness medication any time you have that possibility. I share the same, and so does Alona. You will not experience such strong sickness, at least something that will not affect you to the point of total pain or "leave me alone" attitude. Anyway, your drone shots are your best work, that tells a lot more than you can ever say. Be safe, have a great week and will talk to you soon in a message and you are back in Canada. To our friend with love, take some time off!!! Alona and Michael!! 💖😊👍😉
As per usual a great tour of a very scenic local. You even found a representative of the worlds most exotic and beautiful creatures to act as tour guide for this episode on the Isla Mujeres. There's a simpler term for these creatures, but I can't recall it at the moment. As a sea turtle aficionado next time you get near Asia you need to go to the Taiwanese Island of Xiaoliuquin at the very South end of Taiwan. Your type of aesthetic, tropical, no cars on island. Sea turtles on land and in ocean with no boat ride need to swim beside and with them. Another spot to add to your unending list of places to visit.
Your Latin America saga was great, Alina, it was a pleasure watching you through so many different places. After a while, it’s good to be home like you are in Canada.
My last day was the aftereffects of Agatha on the Pacific Coast! Literally waded in water almost up to the knees with all my luggage to get to the ferry lol
A great choice, the north side of the Isla Mujeres has so many things to see and do. Cancun is oversold. Harriet and I enjoyed our time snorkeling as well as the cliff walk. It seems that we have very similar tastes. The island of Women is to be appreciated. Thank you for the memories, Alina. Sending you lots of love 💖💖 Harriet, Jim and Yuki. Richmond. Va.
Hi Alina! When having to throw up and frequent diarrheas, you need to replace your electrolytes. Otherwise, you will feel exhausted and dragging your butt. PEDIALYTE drink is top choice for electrolytes replenishment; 1 liter bottle around $6 USD. Alternately, buy some limes/lemons and wash them with bottled water. Slice them, and munch on them including rind. Rice and spaghetti will slow down your diarhea. Always drink bottled water with a slice of lemon in it. Enjoy!
I actually haven't flown my drone at all in Mexico because a couple years ago they made it technically illegal for any foreigner to fly a drone anywhere in Mexico. Plenty do it but if they catch you it could be big trouble. I've just licensed what footage I could find instead.
I couldn't agree with you more! I'm sure Alina would love Yelapa too! AND, the pacific coast does not have the brown Sargasso seaweed that has COVERED every beach on the east coast. Except for Isla Mujeres!...😉
We were there 2 weeks ago and it is beautiful. We went to the Garrafon de Castilla and Punta Sur as well. The heat and humidity are brutal (and I say this as a Texan) so we rented a golf cart for out entire stay which also made it easy to explore the island. We did a whale shark tour but did not get lucky. They say prime season is June, July and beginning of August. 4 people on our boat were horribly sea sick and we felt so bad for them. Take Dramamine or get a transderm scop patch which is what we did before we went on our trip. We had a wonderful time and it was easy to get there as we had a direct flight from Austin to Cancun that was less than 2 1/2 hours. It is a lovely laid back island definitely worth more than just a day trip.
Alina, next time you visit Mexico head down to the southern Pacific coast. Lots of natural sights down here as well. Have a good restful stay back in Canada, you deserve it.
Great video! Your turtle footage is so nice. How do you like your DJI Action for underwater? We just bought a GoPro Hero 10 for underwater. I bet they're both excellent cameras. Thanks...❤
Alina, please try the Philippines also if you haven’t tried it yet. You will be snorkeling amongst turtles and schools of fishes, in crystal clear water, and have more fun. Please do checkout the videos of Wake up in the Philippines, so you’ll have a better idea.
I used to go to Mexico when I lived in Boulder, Colorado but now for the past 22 years living in Thailand we have all the beaches the Islands the white sand, and great jungles, so you won't see me wanting to go there.
Can’t answer that just yet because I traveled much more of Brazil than Mexico! Isla Mujeres was the only nice beach I experienced in Mexico because the only other beach destination I went to was Tulum.
@@AlinaMcleod Was curious, because I live in Los Angeles, and have been to many Mexican beaches, but never been to Brazil. Tulum is not one of my favorites, as the last time I was there, it was very expensive (California expensive), and filled with mostly rich Americans, mainly from the northeast of the USA.
Hello Alina, too sad, that You had to go through seasickness for the sea turtles experience. Great images! Regarding Your iPhone battery I posted an idea to the comments of Your lifestream from Vancouver. Hopefully You read it. Best regards, Ralf
I want to visit Chile! The Magellanes and Atacama desert, and part of Patagonia is in Chile! Turtles have been on Earth since dinosaur 🦖 times! They survived, non avian dinos went extinct. I am glad you like turtles, they are cool. I thought you were from BC, Alberta is just above Wyoming and Montana. Went to Yellowstone as a kid, awesome place! Yes, women are the most beautiful, elegant creatures....😉😊

Sadly did not help this time around
Paradise indeed!#
Keep Up the good work.
