I was watching your videos the other day and my thirteen year old daughter said that this was her favorite RV channel. We've stayed at CreekFire several times on our way between our home in Florida and visits to Asheville, NC. We've liked it so much we extended our stay there, it's one of the nicest RV parks we have stayed at and would go again. Thank you for a well done video - especially Mark's advice on how to fend off alligators, we'll whistle and dance through the trail from now on!
We stayed at this campground when we visted Savannah in 2019. Had the same complaint while pulling into the parking space for check-in. Then we were wowed!! when while were bein escorted to our site near the Bar & Grill. They hit a home run on everything else, PLUS they have room to improve this in the future in front so I will still give them 5 stars! They need to have the owner to drive his rig in some day while towing a dolly when two rigs are already in place. She (or he) will change their mind quick!

We stayed at Creekfire in October 2020. They were still in construction mode as a few of the amenities were being completed. Mark, keep up the whistling to keep the gators away as I have a feeling Sue would outrun you! Chilly here in Florida this weekend.
Hello Mark and Sue from very cold and snowy Canada. I’m a new subscriber just recently and am thoroughly enjoying your channel. Funny thing is I don’t even own or have owned an RV. Thank you for sharing this. We will. E going there in June for a week and can’t wait to see everything in the area. Mark that Bloody Mary looked good and I will surely have one on your recommendation. The shuttle looked like a great way to go down town Savanna as well. Thanks again🤙
Sounds great! The shuttle allowed me the confidence that I could go back TWO OTHER TIMES and walk basically the same route, and know where the heck I was going! Priceless.
This is a very nice RV resort, but you can tell it's new as the landscaping isn't grown up much. If you ever get up to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area, I highly recommend you cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and stay at Cherrystone RV Park in Cheriton, VA. It's directly on the Chesapeake Bay and it's gorgeous. We stayed there for many, many years.

nice big rig friendly pull throughs 75'+ but with maybe 55 to 60' tight check in area. strange plan. also kind of a weird plan for the service roads to the sites. i am thinking that restaurant was open with those tasty bloodymarys before the park layout was finalized :D enjoy your vids!
I work in a secured facility with a double row of 10-foot barbed wire fencing that completely surrounds us. We get alligators inside the compound a couple times each year. They can, and do climb fences. Take care. :)
We have been there twice. The first time in March 2021 and it was great. We came back over July 4th and it had gone downhill some. The new owners blamed it on the transition to them and the impact of Covid and getting workers. They said it would get better. I hope it is nice now

I did do some fact checking and your wealth of knowledge continues to amaze us. Loud noises and whistling do serve as a deterrent if you encounter one. One pro tip you forgot to mention… The State of Florida must sell those “Do not feed the Alligators” signs to neighboring states since it cites Florida Statute “Fla. Admin. Code R. 68A-25.001” at the bottom. Who knows, they may sell them on Amazon. We are actually headed over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness next week for a few days, but if you do mange to pass though central Florida as you plan your next adventure, look us up. They have some very unusual requirements you have to agree to when you register. We were also told at the desk if we didn’t wear our wristbands while on the premises , we would be asked to leave. Nice looking Cg but odd rules.
We never wore them because the place wasn't that busy during the season we were there. I think in the heat of summer, they need a system to keep folks that aren't staying at the park OUT of the pools and lazy river! We didn't have any issue with anything except the RV entry way being too tight for a big rig towing when one rv already is cued up!!
@@OurJourneyInMylesWhere north are you going? We are headed west about the second week in Mar. for the AIM rally in SD and the FMCA rally in Tucson. Did you stop by the AIM tent at the supper show?

We are booked April 2023 for a 2 week Hawaii cruise. Not sure we will go if all this bs is still going on. No retirement in site for the queen. Love's her job. I love mine! Retired now 8 plus years!
As many time as we go back home to Savannah, we haven't tried out this resort. Force of habit and just went to the KOA but I think we will add this to our Pin Map and give it a try after we leave Margaritaville. You guys need to try that resort out.. Simply Beautiful.. Stay safe.. Herbie & Mary
We just left the Auburndale FL (Cabana Club) new Margaritaville in early January after two weeks. That place is awesome,......EXCEPT,............NO,..........HOT,.............TUB! What da heck?
Great video and i hope the employees don't stay there and watch you hookup and get set. By the way, did you ask about the construction zone and if their adding more?
Everyone in the office & restaurant were very nice and helpful. Looks like some extra camping cabins/park models were going in back by the pond area, near the on site restaurant grill.

I think in the heat of summer, they need a system to keep folks that aren't staying at the park OUT of the pools and lazy river! We didn't have any issue with anything except the RV entry way being too tight for a big rig towing when one rv already is cued up!!
Love this place! Went there 2 years ago!
After staying at over 150 campgrounds, this one is in the top 10 for sure.
Great video. Where are you headed after the super show?
We are in Ft Myers now for two months before we start heading north again.
@@OurJourneyInMylesWhere north are you going? We are headed west about the second week in Mar. for the AIM rally in SD and the FMCA rally in Tucson. Did you stop by the AIM tent at the supper show?
Marc, where is you last Sunday's post? I pray to God you both are OK
Thanks for the kind & caring check up on us Pius! We actually have two videos cued up and ready, but I am thinking I might go to publishing every other week for a while. Sue is flying to WI to be with her daughter, grandson & mother for a couple weeks.
I’m pushing 70 yrs old, and the 208 videos x 40 hours work per video per week is taking its toll!
The week at the Tampa Show was a busy time as well. No editing happened during that week. Going to take it easier for a while this winter in Ft Myers!
@@OurJourneyInMyles Thank you for the reply! We were also concerned!! Get some rest, safe travels for Sue.🙏
Nice place. Not many people walking around. Winter is getting long here.
We are heading to Branson early April. Too many regulations and rules on cruise ships. We are booked April 2023 for a 2 week Hawaii cruise. Not sure we will go if all this bs is still going on.
No retirement in site for the queen. Love's her job. I love mine! Retired now 8 plus years!
If someone is lucky enough to love their job,........I agree,...........they should stay put! Why not?
As many time as we go back home to Savannah, we haven't tried out this resort. Force of habit and just went to the KOA but I think we will add this to our Pin Map and give it a try after we leave Margaritaville. You guys need to try that resort out.. Simply Beautiful.. Stay safe.. Herbie & Mary
We just left the Auburndale FL (Cabana Club) new Margaritaville in early January after two weeks. That place is awesome,......EXCEPT,............NO,..........HOT,.............TUB! What da heck?
@@OurJourneyInMyles We'll keep that in mind.... "Note to self"!!!! Mark & Sue must have a Hot Tub.... 😂😆😃
When were you guys at Creek fire? Pace and I are there now work camping through April.
We were there 11-14-21 to 11-28-21. Hope you guys have a great experience there!
@@OurJourneyInMyles Very nice place. Went down to 25 degrees the other night. Little unusual for this time of year. Safe travels.
Great video and i hope the employees don't stay there and watch you hookup and get set. By the way, did you ask about the construction zone and if their adding more?
Everyone in the office & restaurant were very nice and helpful. Looks like some extra camping cabins/park models were going in back by the pond area, near the on site restaurant grill.
hello, could you inform the cost of the daily rate at the camping, please.
We paid $58/night for a 50 amp full hookup pull thru in Nov 14th 2022 for 14 days.
Who’s that couple in that hot tub? I don’t know who they are never saw them before in my life.lol! 😂😂😂
They are two soulmates!
Hey, you guys still sleeping? I know you said that the Chanman gets up at the crack of noon...Where is this weeks episode?
I hope you are well....
Thanks for being kind enough to check up on us! We actually have two videos cued up and ready to go, but I am thinking I might go to publishing every other week for a while. Sue is flying to WI to be with her daughter, grandson & mother for a couple weeks.
I’m pushing 70 yrs old, and the 208 videos x 40 hours work per video per week is taking its toll! I'm starting to get thin hair! The week at the Tampa Show was a busy time as well. No editing happened during that week. My New Years Resolution Goal is to take it easier in 2022!
@@OurJourneyInMyles A thinning of the hair would be a stretch but good to hear you are ok..I'm going to be 72 in July so I look forward to you guys and the new episode...I hope we meet up on the road sometime... or when in WI, we can take you guys to Barbieres for pizza... John
Mark, When do you turn 70?
In 5 short months!
Pro tip- Walking down that path slapping your butt, be careful you don’t get a “tail gator”
Seriously, great resort, it goes on the list.
I wish I would have thought of that one. Hope I can remember it for a future video.

Are y’all alright?
We are OK Randy. Thanks for asking! Sue will be traveling for a few weeks to go back home, and I needed to spread our videos out because we share the work! I have two in the cue, but wanted to take a little vacation time while here in Ft Myers!
@@OurJourneyInMyles Glad y’all are ok!
That park is the most expensive park around Savannah it’s even more expensive than the beach parks
Yes, it was a little pricey, but we thought it was worth it.
Watch out for alligators on your walk around that lake.
Yes,........that's starting to become the theme.
C4YT!
You are correct! We need to create a tip jar!
the goal is for you to eat gator not the other way around
Yes,.......as long as you like chicken.
