Beautiful place, friendly staff and many amenities, you will not have a bore day. we stayed there this 4 th July 2024 , will book again. A+ to the staff
Oh my what a beautiful video, a place we will certainly visit. Loved the burgers, and the ice cream cookie to die for. Thanx for being there and sharing your adventure, we love being along with you. ❤
Hi guys... That was a very good video... Like that lazy river rafting... Looks like it is a very nice beautiful park... You say they can accommodate 80' but you still moved Leroy... I think we are as long as you are..... I like to keep my tractor (Rex) With me... We really enjoyed that review... Thanks.... Stay safe..J&A
A little deceiving. We thought we'd be able to park on the grass, but nope. We are OK parking the truck elsewhere in a nice place like this. I know you aren't. It's much better to have it near by cuz we keep stuff we need in it from time to time.
That place was beautiful .....definately up high on the list of RV parks you guys have visited , and a lazy river 🤩 amazing .....who doesnt like one of those . So well organised. I know being American you guys could easily take life for granted as it is, but from an outsiders point of view America is so well set up , the service levels and things to see and do are more than commendable , just fantastic and such beautiful surroundings everywhere and the food .....😛 that burger looked amazing!! made my mouth water 😂. Savannah looked gorgeous , nearly as good as their burgers. First time I've ever seen such a long queue for ice cream , shame you had to miss out . I love the report cards at the end, but was suprised it only got a B overall .....as we dont have anything near as good in England or even close you may find most of us from here would have given that an A++ , heres a tip for Americans , however beautiful England is in many places it doesnt even come close to America in reality ,so dont be suprised if you ever visit to find that in England you wont find the level of services or amenities provided like you have in America so appreciate it at home as it doesnt get any better elsewhere in the world than it is in good old America . Love it and thanks again for your tireless video work Karen . I will never get bored of seeing your beautiful country 👍
You are so right Marten. People take this country for granted. I have been in England, Germany, Ireland, France, Mexico, Japan and Canada and agree with you. We are currently in Idaho and took an ATV ride into the mountains along Salmon River. It was breath taking and a video will be coming in the future of it. Tomorrow we take a jet boat ride in the valley of these mountains and will take videos of that as well. I told Dave earlier today, that when I post the ATV video I'm going to say "This one is for Marten". 😁
@@WattsOnWheels well I will certainly be looking forward to those videos for sure . Both activities sound like great fun and I'm sure we will be in for a treat when we get to see the beautiful scenery . Take care both of you and I look forward to the next instalment 😊👍
Woo Hoo, we were there 2 weeks ago on our way back from the Keys, It is a great park, we did the Old Tyme Trolley tour and it was worth it. You didn't say anything about the "pets" that live in the pond where you were camped.🙄 We'll stop there again when we are in the area.
It’s a shame that the original owner sold out to the new big corporate company. Things have changed. They used to escort you to your site, they also offered shuttle service to downtown.
You are in Savannah in March in shorts and wondering if the pool is heated? Nope! And not cooled in the Summer months either... not many climate controlled pools this far South. I have witnessed Canadiens swimming in the Atlantic at Myrtle Beach, SC in February! Whatever you are used to, I guess. Gator Alert! Watch your fur babies around ponds and rivers! If you dislike like constant highway noise, stay away from here or the KOA. Might as well be in a Hotel off the interstate. I seek much quieter places, just my preference.
We like Army Corp campgrounds the best because they feel like you're camping and are usually off the beaten path. Unfortunately, they don't have any in that area. So once in a while, we have to stay in resorts depending on the destination.

We agree with that. Especially liked the Lazy River.

Thanks so much for taking the journey with us. It's people like you that keep us making these videos. 😁
Well those things are big. Well thank you. Yes that’s what she said. Thanks for the chuckle.
Glad we made you chuckle. Thanks for watching.
That looks like a great RV park! We can’t wait until we can start traveling full time. Safe travels!
Hope you enjoy it when it happens. We certainally have.

My favorite place. My wife and I go twice a year. Nothing beats the lazy river and a cold one.
You got that right!
We have camped there many times, we love this place. Lazy river is great!!!!
I could have lived in that lazy river. :)

Yeh, we actually saw one gator in there, so they are in the pond. We really enjoyed that park.
That was awesome, one day ❤
You aren't that far away now.
Nice 👌😊
Thank you! Cheers!
Nice one
Thanks for watching
What's the music in the beginning while you drive around?
It's called Put It and it is from UA-cam's freebies.
I live one hour from there. Always booked when we want to go....
I made our reservation many months in advance. There were a lot of people coming and going, but never saw a site empty for long.
Nice
Thanks for watching.

Yeah, that big corporate thing happens. We are glad we got to experience this campground and local area.
Gotta go biggest question is can you hear the HWY noise gosh here sounds like daytona 500 7/9/23
Really didn't notice it until night time when it was quiet in the campground.
@@WattsOnWheels it's awful i just got back from down town Savannah constant trucks and cars etc.4:51pm

Dave, are you having a libation?..!!!😂
LOL. Yes...to my wife. 😁 Extra points please.
