All around excellence! Camera capture...story...right level of explanation...creativity...no artificial drama...thinking...execution...project direction...Keep doing this type of work!
This is such an epic build. I've done composite buck, mold, and final parts work in my past and know how much effing work this has been for you. Plus, as an ex-Datsun Z builder (1970s) its great to see what you have done with the beautiful chassis.
Can you please produce super high resolution and quality posters of this amazing build that we can buy and frame? Maybe some design concept pics, some different angles in a nice, futuristic ish setting or something. Love that design, build and quality of work and videos ❤
Standing ovation for everyone who made this car a reality ! Thank you for sharing these epic construction moments, I hope you had a lot of fun with this project !! I really can't wait to see the next episode 🤩
Ffffffffuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk! When that first coat of clear went on, and the carbon showed through, my jaw dropped! What a sick build! Not a huge fan of electric cars, but this is REALLY GNARLY! Congrats boys! GREAT WORK!
Man, this looks so tight; stoked to get the details on stuff like the rear taillight (Transparent 3D printed SLA? I want the details!), all the gaps from all the angles, interior, and definitely keen to see this thing drive ❤ Such a quality build!!
All the thumbs up for not rushing out episodes and instead making a proper introduction of things you've done. I would have liked to see a bit more of the little stuff that went on off-camera but that's ok! Though some quick update clips wouldn't have hurt. Something like just a few minute raw-cut shuffle. I was a bit worried, but saw the community post after looking for it.
Wow, been waiting on this video for quiet sometime now, please guys can we start going in-depth videos of how you make the panels, it looks amazing 🤩 WELL DONE 👍
Absolutely awesome work as always. Now that I see how you can sand down the gelcoat a bit to improve the surface before putting down clear, I will have to add this to my carbon part making process. Any recommendations on UV resistant gelcoat?
Are you guys thinking of doing any 280ZX S130 parts now that S30s are getting expensive? S130s are gonna need body panel replacements as they get older and some carbon replacements could be awesome (and any weight savings is a good idea on that chassis)
It looks absolutely amazing, although I am still a little bit confused about the headlight situation. I understand the aesthetic choice for minimalism but are they not a compliance requirement for street legality ( this was probably addressed already but I have been watching this in the background of other things so apologies if I missed it)
just found you because im looking to do similar project but with a pick-up. do you just bond the panels with this glue ? whats the name of it ? do you have a layer of fiberglass to prevent galvanic corosion with the metal? i have the abilities to do this because thats what im doing on airplane and usually im using epocast2216 or other epoxy + fiberglass or carbone fiber layer.
Have you thought of doing forged carbon fiver project? Or is it to complicated . Great job i know you don't show the real work, cause this stuff is a lot of work and takes endless amount of time.
Amazing car, but I hope you later find a different solution then a rivnut to mount the front sway bar. I'd be concerned the rivnuts will fail due to the stress on the sway bar.
It feels amazing to have seen this build from start to finish, but you guys must be elated! Great job, looking forward to see a detailed reveal here on YT as well, but take your time :D Take care!
I don't understand?? What happened to the video series and updates? This is the last video now for 5 months? Did something happen to you guys I hope everything is okay?
Can you guys help make a front end for my car. I need help bad....Car is a 640hp AWD 1971 Datsun 510b. Only one like it in the world. Please help, it would be an awesome video series.
It looks so crazy when the clear coat reveals the carbon weave!! This car is so sick!!
appreciate it 🖤
Yeah it looks great 😍 awesome work 👍 I wish I had a resin infusion setup for my V12 build 🤔
All around excellence! Camera capture...story...right level of explanation...creativity...no artificial drama...thinking...execution...project direction...Keep doing this type of work!
Especially the "no drama" part. Far too many channels press that well beyond the limit...
Congratulations to making it to SEMA!!!

No words, just wow! Thanks for sharing all the details, drooling over here....
Music is FIRE!!! Great job Tim and Dad's back lets go!!!
I love the level of detail u show in this series. It almost feels like a bunch of tutorials. Amazing craftmenship
I was scared we weren't gonna get this video, bless you
always. SEMA just took a lot of manpower from everyone but now that we are back time to get back in routine.
@@StreetBandito Well keep up the good work, this build is so sick!

This might be the most beautiful car I've ever seen. Incredible work!
Standing ovation for everyone who made this car a reality !

Ffffffffuuuuuuucccccckkkkkkk! When that first coat of clear went on, and the carbon showed through, my jaw dropped! What a sick build! Not a huge fan of electric cars, but this is REALLY GNARLY! Congrats boys! GREAT WORK!
Found this channel randomly and I'm in love with all of this, super inspired and really want to dive in and learn everything.
Funny to watch this when I already saw the car at SEMA on a SA video! Well done!

@StreetBandito I'm not even into EVs and 240s/280s. I just dig quality work, carbon and vintage wide body race cars haha
Who’s to thank for the good tunes?
Love the carbon, love the music.
Totally! Best music of any car build channel by a long shot
lol glad you enjoy 🤙🏽

Just wanted go say that im feeling the tech/house music from this build series

Incredible workmanship, and phenomenal documentation of the build!! Great work guys, especially in such a ridiculously short timeframe.
Thanks for scratching my carbon itch once again! The Z is looking Awesome!
Goated build right here
Love the dubtechno you’ve been using for the vids recently!
Amazing job as always! Also good to see Greg again
Great work! So awesome. Congrats on making in the battle of the builders. Can't wait for more episodes
Cannot overstate what an amazing job you all have done. Wish you could come to Japan and help me with a carbon roof and rear quarters on my S15.
Music selection on point as usual.

I have been loving this series!! Great work car looks amazing

Awesome build, the rivnut for a sway bar mount is a little concerning though.
I would like to know the dual component glue used for this project...
just found you because im looking to do similar project but with a pick-up. do you just bond the panels with this glue ? whats the name of it ? do you have a layer of fiberglass to prevent galvanic corosion with the metal? i have the abilities to do this because thats what im doing on airplane and usually im using epocast2216 or other epoxy + fiberglass or carbone fiber layer.
my favorite drinking game: drink when you hear anything about stabilized carbon fiber or v weaves. lets goooooooooooooooooooooooo
I like this project so much more than the Gas Monkey Testa. Keep up the great content.

What bonding epoxy do you use?

I was thinking the same thing...

Do you know what software was used for the design?
I bet its fusion 360 👍
We already know you made it to Sema because it's already over and we saw it there
okay, so how do I win this?
SUPPPPPPPPPPER
What no stabilized carbon in this one!?
Stabilized carbon? Anybody?
Who needs stabilized carbon when you can just do a v-weave? Some people, seriously
got to do 10 pushups everytime it’s said lol
I don't understand?? What happened to the video series and updates? This is the last video now for 5 months? Did something happen to you guys I hope everything is okay?
? 10:46 did u bonded to the rusted metal?
Nah, all rust was either cut out or coated in mar-hyde rust converter
@@willshubaru it does not look like. just use your eyes
@23:44 is that Dylan Mulvaney?
All hands on deck
The clear makes it look like you’re painting the carbon effect on😂

Where is 50 Tyson from? That's an enigma that's plagued the internet for years.
31st vid?
I'm now going to have to explain to my wife why I keep saying "Donimos" to describe everything i'm doing.
Guys, I lost my knees
glad you came around and embraced the name lmao
