COMPLETE NEW ENGINE REQUIRED 🙈1.5 TSI piston and bore damaged!

This is the engine stripped out. So what we found with this one, was it coming with a knocking noise on cylinder 2. Test driving it you could hear it sounded like a diesel injector type of issue but it wasn't, this is a 1.5 petrol. So carried out the basics. Diagnostic fault, we had a cylinder 2 misfire.
Carried out compression, compression was OK. So carried out a leak down test. The leak down test was OK. So what we did then was remove the spark plug.....
Best bet rather than trying to recondition we're going to go with a complete new genuine engine.
