7 second flight time on the bullet makes you really appreciate how good of a shot it was and then just when you think you couldn’t be more impressed the drone flys to the target putting it into perspective on how far it really is 👍

I know a channel takes A LOT of time, and you respond all the time. I make it a point to watch at least one video a day, sometimes more, because it is RELAXING to watch you set up and shoot and your spotter, I find myself laugh too when she giggles. I sure appreciate this channel.

Mind boggling is three kilometres. I was sold a 300 Norma Magnum by an old friend as he couldn't shoot it anymore. I haven't had the pleasure yet to try it out but this is certainly encouraging. Mind you, it is not the rifle that is of the calibre you have.

That's pretty good, not only hitting the target on the full but also bouncing rounds onto it! 😄

I find it so incredible memorising, watching,
waiting as the round travels to it's target. Absolutely awe inspiring to say the least. The beautiful videography is absolutely perfect, just the sound of your voices and the wind.

Job done and done very well, I'd say. What a fantastic spread! 2 hits in 5 and the other 3, were very near misses. A lot can happen to a bullet within a 7.050s flight and I have much respect for y'all. I recently tried my hand at slightly under a mile for the first time with my 28 Nosler; I burned up 7 times as much ammo at half the distance, and went home very humbled. I don't know how you do it.

I was wondering if you could assist in a decision. I have a Rifle to be built but im in between 300Norma Mag and 338Lapua, this rifle will be stricly set up for ELR we have 1 mile and 2 mile range. im in Canada so im not reaching into the 375 game but i want something that is capable of going the distance. which do you think would be a better suited rifle in this 338 Lapua bolt face ? with grain bullet associated with it from your experience ? Appreciated in advance.

Hello Mark & Sam, Jason from Kentucky here. Have a question that I believe you might have experience to know and if not first hand experience, I’d believe you possess the practical and theoretical knowledge to answer. As a relatable hypothetical I will refer to your 45-70/45-90/45-120 build. Let’s say you are achieving 1400 fps with a 500 grain load as reference (although caliber, projectile, velocity are irrelevant I believe). If you were to achieve this velocity with smokeless and with black powder, would the recoil impulse itself be different between the two due to the burning nature of smokeless powder versus the explosive characteristics of black powder? I believe that the complete force of the recoil will be identical due to equal and opposite interactions but would you say the recoil force over time signature, graphed out would be different? My experience tells me there will be an appreciable difference, but without a BPCR, Chronograph and opportunity my belief is only opinion. Thanks guys for letting us tag along for the great entertainment. Jason
