I don’t have the muscle memory for that but this video was just showing you can have these ideas in mind as any character. I just like Bryan 😅 if I do decide to play more I’ll keep that in mind 🫡
You two are right and Manley- whiff punish, block+punish. I know what moves you’re talking about. Jin does carry most but not all. It’s rare but there’s some Jin’s out there that don’t spam the easy gimmick moves.
his down/2 is very punishable. Listen to Jin’s grunt when he does that move. When Jin does that- his torso glow like his wing during his rage art. Those are two dead giveaways- that is why I never use it. Sidestep left to Jin just like DJ, and Mishima’s. Duck his EWHF- then immediately punish. Sidestep or duck the EWHF observe the Jin. I like to do 3-5 depending on the match up and if it connects.
Thank you for the Guide CBM! It would be a great help if you summarize your overall thoughts and strategies in the end of your videos. The only thing that remained in my mind is that people may not play flowcharty in the beginning but later they start to play flowcharty. So I need to figure out their flowcharty moves and counter play. I hope I got it right.
. Thanks for the feedback. What I can say is you need to lab what a character can flow chart. Truthfully, the way I analyze is by labbing the character and then memorizing key moves and playing around the frame advantage. Very minus (-9. -8) take a poke. Minus -3, it might be a high-crush setup depending on the move. labbing the outcomes which in the end isnt alot. espically when you make them expose it. A person that mashes crouch jab and armor all game wont randomly try to sidestep. Ill try my best next video.
I’m definitely no Bryan expert but Steve’s lows suck so i would think it becomes a battle of timing with Steve having b1. But he can’t open you up like Bryan can. Steves moves like stomp are risky. Most of his lows are launch punishable I believe?
@@treyrayner3862I was thinking about qcb2. Most of his lows yield little dmg. Steve also has some -14 moves. I just break the game to a basic level and try to win important interactions sorry if didn’t help lol😅
Key thing in the bryan matchup specifically is punishing jin D2 with fcdf2,1. Its crucial

Exactly thats wot i noticed the whole time no correct punish on d2
Jin carries anyone with a quarter of a brain to Blue ranks and that is unacceptable
If you sneeze you reach blue ranks in T8.
Think bigger...
Never sell yourself short.

@ thank you for the explanation CBM! You are amazing 💐
Can you make video about how to deal with Steve as Bryan?

@@CBMfromOhioSteve only got on low that launch punishable
@@CBMfromOhiothe stomp string is punishable but if the do just the stomp then it’s minus 13
The low that enforces crouch is launch punishable
