Aww, the automatic transmission fan sound. You have to agree that for a mostly stock Jeep, it rocks. Also, Jeep does a proper red like Ferrari and Ducati.
Bob Wampler I absolutely despise automatic transmissions, and would never buy a good majority of cars if they had one ESPECIALLY a Jeep. But you do you.
The Dank Lord Up until the JL, I would alway prefer manual transmission, no question. This 8 speed has me wondering. It is easier climbing with a really good auto, but they have been limited until now. I would have to drive both to decide.
Jeeps are not "unreliable" or "undependable". The issue is that their owners mistreat them as to none other vehicle. Even so this one didn't break. According to experts, the Jeep Wrangler is the best 4x4 off-roader in the world. Cheers from Costa Rica.
This was the most fun Jeeping video I've watched in some time. Great spotting and I'm impressed by the size of his cajones for attempting even the first half. The winch exit, though...don't think this trail is possible without one. Can't wait for your next attempt!
You two make a great team. She's a great spotter and calls the line very well, and he's a great, controlled driver. Good on you. And now I want a JL real bad. Definitely going to get one when I give my son my JK.
And still rocking the paper plates. Lol my JL lasted just over a month before I was off roading it. A scuffed up rim bent rim and scratches every where. Has battle scars that most 10 year old Jeeps don't have, and it's 6 weeks old. Great job on this climb. Very impressive
Carnage has been a bucket list trail for me. Insane to see a nearly stock jeep do so well on it. You guys have me wanting to get out and go on more wheeling adventures with all these videos!
I have being driving Jeep Wrangler since 2008 , and I just bought my 4th. Wrangler a 2018 JL Rubicon unlimited .your videos made me love the wrangler more and more. Kevin and his Beautiful wife ( I don’t know her name ) are amazing , and little insane but in a good way , she was an excellent guide for the professional driver ( behind a great driver Kevin there is an Angel ). I appreciate you for sharing your videos. Please keep it up, and drive safely.
great driving and great spotting! y'all make a great team. Thanks for making the vid and showing off the jl to us jeepers. appreciate ya, happy jeeping!!
Seeing this video from over a year ago. And I'm very impressed with how far you both have come with your jl. Still so cool to see what your Jeep did with so little done to it.
It takes some balls to take a 50k+ thousand dollar vehicle and scratch it to hell like this.. Great job though, and the Rubicon is impressive for sure..
Ran that trail back in 2005 in my XJ on 35s. Had to winch a tiny bit at the very end but that is one fun trail and a beautiful area. Check out Montrose and Grand Junction as well, lots of fun trails.
Good driver who follows instructions well , but your spotter was the one who got you through it. She is great and knows what she is doing as far as spotting plus encouragement which calms those shaky knees.
Well it would appear that the JL Rubicon is the most capable Jeep of all renditions to date in stock, or lightly modified form. I Remember a few years back when their was rumors that Jeep was ditching the solid axle in favor of independent suspension and other such nonsense like non removable doors. I'd love to get myself a JLU Rubicon!! Until I come in to some money, I'm "stuck" with my 2003 TJ Rubicon. Which after owning for 9 years, I'm still just as in love with her now, as I was the day i brought her home.
Here when I start driving soon, my dad has a 2002 Jeep Wrangler sport he’s planning on fixing up and giving it to me, and I really hope I can go do this with it😂
Re H. The Waterfall and V-Notch obstacles on Carnage Canyon (which is where we turned around), aren't obstacles to attempt without at least a winch or a back-up rig.
I'm not a big commenter, but great vid! You did a fantastic job spotting imo - not like in most 4x4 videos with some burly guy yelling "DRIVER! DRIVER!! PASSENGER!" So I commend the hell out of the two of you!
I’m spoiling for those who don’t know. This Jeep gets an unbelievable complete makeover. Love what becomes of it. I totally need the winch u will soon give away
I have a manual tranny in my 2014 Rubicon. I am thinking it might be easier to rock crawl with an automatic. I see so many Jeeps using the auto these days.
Rock crawling in an auto is definitely a LOT easier, especially on the new JLs. I've always been impressed by people who can wheel capably in a manual! It takes some footwork skill for sure!
I have watched and commented on all of your JL videos, really enjoy watching y’all take on some rocky trails. I read the comments below, ignore ugly people saying negative things about your videos. Anytime you post anything in a public place the uglies show up every time and put there ignorant 2 cents in. Not to say something nice or nothing at all but to just be ugly, wow, really shows how many haters and jealous people there is in the world. If a ugly hater person is ready this please think of the old saying; if you don’t have anything nice to say, THEN DONT SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!
So the girl who is spotting this guy is really good! Not to mention the guy does a great job trusting her. You two make an awesome team!
Proof that with a good spotter and a great driver you can tackle almost anything!
Kudos to this guy driving his new Jeep as he should. Even more kudos to his wife letting AND helping him drive it as he should.
I'm on 35's and 3" lift. Goes anywhere. Remember kids, 50 years ago, they crossed the rubicon and everywhere else on a 20" tire and no lift lol
I have to say, your spotting while filming skillz are impressive! Also respect for driving a brand new jeep up that trail. Nicely done
You guys should be getting revenue from Jeep for pushing the limits of field testing beyond whatever they could hope for. Once again, amazing video.
This is the result of a great spotter and driver team. So many would have messed up their rig.
Quite impressive. The slow, precise plodding with excellent spotting no doubt won the day. Tire size is only a recommendation.
Aww, the automatic transmission fan sound. You have to agree that for a mostly stock Jeep, it rocks. Also, Jeep does a proper red like Ferrari and Ducati.
Bob Wampler Definitely!!

Great footage. Love the fact that you guys actually put this Rubi JL to the test that the real world cares to see

MIchael Crum it is stock the new rubicon’s come stock with all of this
I don’t know what’s more nerve-racking spotting somebody through that or driving. Good job
I was probably more nervous than he was, but I'm not sure if that's because I was spotting or because he's just slightlyyyy more crazy than I am. LMAO
This was the most fun Jeeping video I've watched in some time. Great spotting and I'm impressed by the size of his cajones for attempting even the first half. The winch exit, though...don't think this trail is possible without one. Can't wait for your next attempt!
I gotta say, that was great! I just bought the exact same Jeep 2 weeks ago...waiting to get the lift, steel bumpers, and of course...the winch!
Any trail that makes a Rubicon on 35s look like a tiny puppy trying to climb stairs.... is good in my book. I gotta try it someday.
Amazing what you can do with a great spotter! She's terrific!
Spotting and filming!! And getting both right. Well done. Good job knowing when to say when.
Lite Brite... what a tandem! You guys are fearless! Incredible video. Thanks.
Great Spotting!!!! always need to have a great spotter...well done
I'm loving the new JL, didn't really like them at first but they look sharp. Great job the both of you! Your wife did a great job spotting.
This is the first Jeep since 2001 that I would consider buying-- Just gotta find some soccer mom to drive it for the first 30,000kms.
Furness Prime 😂😂😂 You can buy ours! 😉 haha
Oh man amazing that paint came out unscathed!
You two make a great team. She's a great spotter and calls the line very well, and he's a great, controlled driver. Good on you.

Great team and it shows. All the tech and upgrades in the world are no substitute for a good spotter and a great driver. Congratulations.
Carnage has been a bucket list trail for me. Insane to see a nearly stock jeep do so well on it. You guys have me wanting to get out and go on more wheeling adventures with all these videos!
I was expecting something to go wrong. They did awesome, good spotting and communication. Congrats ! #jeeplife

Awesome to see the rig go from this when I first got introduced to y’all to see where you are now!!!!
HOLY MOLY!
Great teamwork you two!
Very impressive. 👌
great driving and great spotting! y'all make a great team. Thanks for making the vid and showing off the jl to us jeepers. appreciate ya, happy jeeping!!
Wow. Excellent spotting. Great job by both of y'all.
Seeing this video from over a year ago. And I'm very impressed with how far you both have come with your jl. Still so cool to see what your Jeep did with so little done to it.

How can 46 people not like this? This is amazing and awesome. Great job
Ran that trail back in 2005 in my XJ on 35s. Had to winch a tiny bit at the very end but that is one fun trail and a beautiful area. Check out Montrose and Grand Junction as well, lots of fun trails.
I'm not a big fan of the newer wranglers but it's undeniable they are still extremely capable.
I'm surprised you tried without a winch....you guys are fearless and that is awesome....good wheeling
What an amazing video!!! Very impressive skill from both!!!
Good driver who follows instructions well , but your spotter was the one who got you through it. She is great and knows what she is doing as far as spotting plus encouragement which calms those shaky knees.
Joe Wilkerson Thank you!
Only in a Rubi with Lockers, great job guys, I Love my Rubicon!
Better than text book right there. 💪😎 Experience beats text book hands down. What a great team.
Need your spotter to train my wife🚙
Wow the 2.0 needs major cooling.. LOUD
Fun video!
Thats a bad ass spotter, i will say! Can tell she loves jeeping!

That was kick ass to watch! I just got my first Jeep JLU, wish I had a rubi, but I live in Long island... Not many trails like that. I'm jealous!
Great spotter, great driver! Awesome JL content!
Wow. She did a great job spotting! Sick JL too by the way!!!
That is impressive. Not gana be buying a used Jeep JL from you guys lol
LOL
Seriously the maintenance would be way better than someone that never puts it to the test and can barely afford it
I have no idea about off road, I just admire it, it this video really make me think about get into it...nice team, nice video.
Life insurance on Kev makes you enjoy the daring parts of life.
Nice work! What are your tire specks and are you running wheel spacers?
Hate to sound like a broken record, but that is some excellent spotting! I wish I had the knack for it like you do.
BTDT, It's 35's Min. But still nice, good driving. Not trying to power through it. Glad so see you out on the trails instead of at the mall.
It's a Jeep thing! Perfect driving man and perfect spotting girl!😁👍
Really good spotting and driving. But recommendation also for a winch look at some rocker guards.
TROP COOL d vous revoir à vos presque débuts!!!
Thanks for taking us along, good times!
Totally an enabler but a good spotter too great video hope to see more in the future. Subscribed!
What tire pressures are you running it looks low but it helped you alot Thanks Scott
God how much I love this car 😭
Great gob spotting and filming. Go team Rubicon!
I think Jeep should purchase the rights to this video. Perfect spotting and driving........while filming too!
That pretty lady was one hell of a solid spotter :D
That was just awesome. The commentary was epic too- 🤘🏻
Great video and driver guidance. Well done.

Nicely done! Next stop. . .Patriot!

Here when I start driving soon, my dad has a 2002 Jeep Wrangler sport he’s planning on fixing up and giving it to me, and I really hope I can go do this with it😂
What happened with the winch? You went to get one, but we didn't see why you needed it.
Re H. The Waterfall and V-Notch obstacles on Carnage Canyon (which is where we turned around), aren't obstacles to attempt without at least a winch or a back-up rig.
Impressive..
You're an amazing spotter..
Great video guys..
Greetings from Yemen
Great team work, communication and trust!

Jimmy Moultray Thank you! 😁
Those tires are amazing
I’m spoiling for those who don’t know. This Jeep gets an unbelievable complete makeover. Love what becomes of it. I totally need the winch u will soon give away
Gosh you guys are making me want to get a jeep! Closest I've ever been to off-road capable is a mazda cx-3 haha
How do you guys like the on-road performance? Has it really improved a lot over older jeeps in its use as a daily-driver?
Superb teamwork!
That trail is insane!
awesome team work!
Wow skillz man. Nicely done

Great teams make great dreams!
Goes to show you how good a spotter can be for you!
That's some really good spotting.
Enjoy your videos. You guys make a good team.
Nice spotter and driver, you guy kicked some ass.
You two are an amazing team .
What type/ brand tires are you using?.
Evil Mike In this video we were using STT Pros
AWESOME!!!!
Good times, and good job. But money-wise, how can you afford to do this with this Jeep?
Brian Murphy Mostly the bank. 🙄🙄
Great team and excellent spotter!!!
It hearts my soul to watch this jeep getting scratched up like that 😰
I know that's what it's made for but still
Samer Saleh ... it’s a Jeep. This is what it’s made for.
I love your Jeep videos guys! Great job. Keep it up!!
Awesome content and vlogging style. Subscribed!
