I like that you are very patient with The critical comments. Most people block a viewer as soon as they say anything critical. Good information. It will help me a lot.
I love how real and genuine this video is. The mistake was great to see, because that is something a lot will run into. Thanks for sharing your artistic wisdom!
I realize this video was posted five years ago and I’ve watched it twice now. I would love to see this finished piece to see how you brought the waves of the water together. I’m definitely subscribing to your channel.
I'm brand new to a acrylic and oil painting. I took 1 Bob Ross class and now I'm hungry to learn more. I love how detailed you are explaining things....not too many are as detailed! Thanks!
Thanks sir. That's the end of my struggle to increase the drying period of acrylic paint. By your video I knew that liquitex flow aid is very useful to increase the drying time of acrylic colour. Just now i have ordered for it. Thanks a lot sir for valuable video. You are grate sir.
Wow... when you started with just the 3 colours roughly laid on your canvas I thought there’s no way these will blend smoothly - what a gorgeous background you ended with. I’ve only used inks for blending, this is all still new to me, so Thanks for sharing some great tips with us newbies ❤️
I am learning painting with acrylic paint. I have seen many tutorials for acrylic painting. But this one is the best. You are showing the technique in so detail that it becomes very easy to understand for the beginner also. This will improve my paintings. I am very much thankful to you and I have subscribed your channel.
Awesome job here...wow...I am going to do this with the painting I am on now...and I really like that you use the canvas panels too..I always thought that only stretched canvas was the way to go, but now I work on the panels and they are great, and much easier to store than bulky stretched canvas...Thanks for this great video lesson, you rock...
This was SO helpful. I wouldn't mind seeing another blending video where you blend a more colorful background, like a brown to sunset colors to a blue-gray at the top. Thank you so much for doing these basic blending videos for us newbies!
Thanks, I needed that. I really struggle with blending acrylics. I appreciated seeing how you adjusted the colors and smoothed it out to look so soft. Beautiful!
I'm glad you showed the mistake of adding too much white as you put it. Usually when I mess up I get stuck but you showed us how to get back to what you envisioned. Thanks, I'm learning a lot here.
The other day I was thinking how I cant even pronounce some of the paint colors so ill never be able to speak to other artists...glad it's not just me! I like that you're just simple and you do what you want and what works for you. I cant stand snobby know it all types. Thanks for sharing your way.
I am new to painting and trying to teach myself. I have been watching numerous videos but this video, by far, is the BEST on blending! Thank You very much. You now have a new subscriber!!
You’re a life saver! I’ve been trying to paint a Smoky Mountains landscape piece as a gift for Christmas and I’ve had to scrap and start over because my sky looks terrible every time. It’s been years since I’ve painted anything and I’ve made myself feel like a total moron! I’m so glad UA-cam recommended you, this was literally the first video on the list this morning when I opened up the app!! Thanks!! Definitely new sub here. Can’t wait to start watching the rest of your videos. Merry Christmas!!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I somehow forgot my login password. I love any help you can offer me
@Kyle Antonio i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Fabulous both of you , PINK is a wonderful expressive colour , I love it . Never tried mixing with Raw Umber though , going to give it a try . Thank you.
Very helpful and useful, as I am still learning and am overwhelmed by all the techniques and mediums. Also, thank you for clearing up on how to tone down that blue (finally!!) Much appreciated.
@@GregLowmanArt I look forward to other videos. There's so much to learn! Despite being enrolled in art classes, videos like this really help with the techniques I bring with me, as I am less experienced. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge. ♡
I really like the way you explain the blending, I watched a few videos , but yours is not only explained in full , your voice is soothing, will continue to watch will post my finished product once I use your technique.
Will give this a go this weekend thank you for such a great tutorial. You make it look easy but blending technique is like a hump during driving lessons 😆 You’re very patient as well🤗
This was exactly what I needed to watch. Amazing. I loved every bit of this video and inspired me to work on the background I really wanted for my arabic Calligraphic art. I ended up adding a messy thin golden line to my horizon and Im pretty happy with the result. Thanks for the wonderful tutorial ❤️❤️
Hey that was a great help thank you 😊 I am not familiar with acrylics and I haven't painted for 30 years or more and I used to layer up watet colours and pencil drawings every day and did o level and A level exams but such a long time I feel I have lozt it and want it back so with growing inspiration I am creeping nearer to start. Thank you 😙
Thanks for a wonderful explanation of blending acrylics. I would like to see more tutorials in blending. It's one of the problems with acrylics. Also would like to see videos on reflections. Keep up the good work.
This has to be one of the best instructional video's I've seen 👍. And the results are breathtaking as well 👌. I learnt so much here, also the many thing's I'd be doing wrong 😅. Which is precisely why I never achieved the results wished for. Brilliant 🏆🏆🏆🇦🇺
I have been on the fence about getting that flow aid for months. Heading out to get it right now lol. Awesome vid on blending acrylics. You have a new subscriber. Thank you!
I learned a few tricks watching this video . I’m just learning how to paint with brush . I’ve been pour painting for a year now and I love it but, I feel I can do more and explore my artistic side lol. Thanks again. Canada 🇨🇦 q
Newly subbed. Very relatable presentation. I just got a tube of the same blue. Its great for shadows and night scenes. Im looking forward to seeing more of your vids.
Thank you for taking the time to share your technique. It has been a struggle for me as I tend to overwork the process and end up with a total mess. I’m working on a series at the moment that calls for this type of background. I can’t wait to give this a try.
Love this! I watched this video just before starting my new painting and got a bit impatient with the slow approach but I am so glad I persisted. Thank you for this great video!
Awesome! Thank you! Working on a ocean mixed media piece now and bumped into this! I thought I would use pastels since they blend so nicely but I’m going to give this a try! I don’t have any extender with me but I have some Golden glaze or or gels that might buy me some longer working times to get it blended?
First off, great video your voice is sooooo soothing and you don't rush through the process, which is helpful for us newbies...very Bob Ross 🥰Question: Are you dipping into the Flo Aid with each application of the initial color applications? From the video it appears you only used it once or perhaps I missed something. Thank you with your patience at my question. 🎨
