- Bahira the Monk (Christian) had lived for many years in this monastery worshipping God.
One day, he was looking through his window, he saw the Caravan coming from the HIJAZ.
The Caravan was approaching with its camels, people and merchandise settling around the tree.
The monk noticed that there was one person in that caravan that always had cloud shading on him, if he moved to east; cloud moved to east if he moved to west cloud moved to west, cloud was following him.
And when that person arrived in monastery and sat beneath that Blessed tree, Cloud then passed the mission of shading this person to the tree.
Bahira Monk was anxious with this anticipation as he was watching the visitor's entering in the monastery.
So when Prophet SAW entered in the monastery, Bahira was intensely moved.
So Bahira started asking "Whose boy is this?"
Abu Talib replied: "He is my son." Bahira asked again "Is he your son and you his father?"
Abu Talib said "Yes. Bahira Said "The father of this boy cannot be alive."
And Abu Talib was surprised and demanded to know how Bahira could have known this?
Abu Talib told Bahira, that "He is my nephew. His father is passed away when his mother was pregnant with him."
Bahira Replied "Take care of this boy and protect him from enemies," He is Prophet that will come at the end of time."
This is the Blessed tree where Prophet Muhammad SAW sat under this tree (During childhood) and all this conversation happen.

The translation at 8:28 is so wrong
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) can undoubtedly read and write in every language, infact he (peace be upon him and his family) has the knowledge of everything which is given to him by Allah.
The correct translation is The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) has not learn to read and write from anyone, and this is a also a Mo'jaza of the beloved prophet (peace be upon him and his family) that he can read and write everything without even learning from anyone.

What species of tree is this
The sahaba are people, who met, heard, or saw prophet Mohamed (saw) and remained Muslims. This is the definition most scholars gave to the sahaba. To call a tree a "sahabi" is not correct and is an exaggeration of the world. It is ONLY a tree. Otherwise, the Kaaba and masjid Qibaa and other monuments saw and witnessed prophet Mohamed (saw). Do we call them sahaba as well?
My concern is that people will travel to that tree and worship a tree. Even the black stone, Omar (ra) said about it: "by Allah, you are only a stone, and if i did not see prophet Mohamed (saw) kiss you, I would not have kissed you".
Lets focus on true Islam, lets go back to the Quran and the Sunnah and not deviate from their way. Otherwise, whomever do that will be from the people of bidaa/innovation and every bidaa/innovation is in hell fire, as prophet Mohamed (saw) told us.

And why is the king Abdullah of Jordan a descendant from prophet Mohamed (saw)? Who established that exactly? And if he, he does not act, look or behave like prophet Mohamed (saw).
If he is a true descendant, wouldn’t he know that Prophet Mohamed (saw) said there are no kings in Islam? Wouldn’t he know that al-khilafa is not inherited and is chosen by people?
If he is a true descendant of Prophet Mohamed (saw) how come he does not grow his beard, which is a FARD on every Muslim?
If he is a descendant of Prophet Mohamed (saw), how come he lives in palaces where some of his people are poor and needy and many Muslims are starving and oppressed!!!
I am not here to judge anyone, but calling someone descendant of Prophet Mohamed (saw) is a big responsibility and one should own up to it.
May Allah (sw) return this king and others to the way of Allah (sw) and the Quran and the Sunnah and help them raise Islam as it was once on the day of Prophet Mohamed (saw) and the khulafa al-Rashideen, Ameen.
