According to Imam Al-Ghazali, writing in his Mukhashfa al-Qulub, Umar ibn Al-Khattab (ra) was asked why the day of ’Ashura was considered so noble. Umar (ra) listed a few events which had taken place on ’Ashura, including: Allah created the skies and earth on this day, along with the Preserved Tablet. Allah created Angel Jibril (as). Allah created Adam (as), as well as Hawwa (as). Allah created Jannah. Allah enabled Adam (as) to live in Jannah. The first rain to fall on earth was on ’Ashura. Therefore, since before the beginning of human history, ’Ashura has been filled with significant events.

It is only a moment... then these difficulties come to an end; be patient with them. Be patient restraining your soul from its desires; be patient upon the obligations Allāh سبحانه و تعالى has commanded you with. Be patient with the calamities that befall which are either from yourself or (calamities) from Allāh the Exalted, or from the people. Be patient until you reach the abode of relaxation.
{And Allaah knows while you know not}
The delays in your life are there for a purpose and behind them is Divine Wisdom which only Allaah knows. So surrender your affairs to Allaah and trust Him, and don’t be disheartened nor lose hope.
Behind every patience there is a beautiful affair, and know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, and affliction is followed by relief, and hardship is followed by ease.
Two things to remember in life. Take care of your thoughts when you are alone. Take care of your words when you are in the crowd.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“Whoever washes his head on the day of Jumu’ah, and takes a bath and arrives in time, and he walks and he does not ride, and he draws close to the imaam, and he listens and he does not speak. Then for every step which he takes, there will be for him the reward of a year: the reward of fasting it and standing in Prayer.”
Shaikh al-Albaanee said this hadeeth is (saheeh)

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67]
3. La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah)

The Day of Ashura is about the sacrifice that Imam Hussain A.S. and his blessed family and friends gave to keep Islam alive. This is the family of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Truly sad events that occurred to the family of the Prophet ﷺ, may Allah guide the people who use this tragedy to beat themselves up, their actions have no basis in Islam.
You celebrate Eid because prophet Ismail was nearly killed. Yet you expect Muslims not to cry for the family of the Prophet who were butchered by so called Muslims. What happened after the death of the Prophet that his holy family his alyl bait were matyred. Hussain as taught us that death is just a means to get closer to Allah. He revived the religion of His Holy Grandfather. He exposed the corruption, and gave his head for the sake of pleasing Allah. It is not 2 Muslim enemies fighting each other, it is haq vs bathel, the rightous vs the cursed.

The difference is we don't beat ourselves up, show me where in the Quran and sunnah it says to inflict damage upon yourself. If you say you love ahlulbayt follow islam, not whatever innovated twisted rituals the shia do.

Ashura is a major event for all Muslims that the holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) grandson Husayn(as) was slaughtered for having stood up for truth & justice against oppression & tyranny with alot of his family against Yazeed.
Please do not underestimate this sacrifice as it was done for the sake of Allah(swt) to Keep the holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) Islam from being hijacked from it's Prophetic authenticity.
This truly is a universal message that unfortunately a lot of Muslims & other people tend to ignore or merely overlook sadly hence not truly benefitting from it's divine spiritual essence.
However by disacknowledging Ashura, I feel would be a real source of displeasure & disrespect to the sanctity & pure love that the holy Prophet Mohammad(saw) had held in high esteem for both his grandsons & grand-daughters.

I got it from a book called حسن المسلم husn al muslim. I don't have the direct translation of the meaning حسن المسلم but it's like good character of a Muslim. Number 110 which says "يقرأ (الٓمٓ تنزيل السجدة، وتبارك الذي بيده الملك) and the source is Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Nisaa'i in عمل اليوم والليلة, and Sahih Al-Jame' صحيح الجامع (255/4)

Al-Tirmidhi (2892) narrated from Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not sleep until he had recited “Alif‑Laam‑Meem. The revelation…” [al-Sajdah 32] and “Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion…” [al- Mulk 67] Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi
Quran Presevation is a Miracle.
100 million people visiting the Shrine of Hussain in such a war torn country each year is also a Miracle.
Meanwhile nobody goes visiting the tombs and monuments of previous kings and emperors

Allah's Messenger (S) said: "The most virtuous fasting after the month of Ramadan is that of Allah's month of Al-Muharram. And the most virtuous Salat after the obligatory is the night prayer."

• The day when Yakhub (AS) regained his eyesight.
• The day the illness of Ayyub (AS) disappeared.
• The day Musa (AS) and his people were saved from Firoun.
• The day the great kingdom of Sulaiman (AS) was bestowed upon him.

• The day ESA (AS) was raised up to the heavens.

Al-Nawawi said, “Al-Shafi’i and his companions, Ahmad, Ishaq, and others said it is recommended to fast the ninth and tenth of al-Muharram together, as the Prophet (ṣ) fasted the tenth and intended to fast the ninth.”

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ. وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ـ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانُوا يَصُومُونَ عَاشُورَاءَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفْرَضَ رَمَضَانُ، وَكَانَ يَوْمًا تُسْتَرُ فِيهِ الْكَعْبَةُ، فَلَمَّا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ فَلْيَصُمْهُ، وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَلْيَتْرُكْهُ ".
Narrated `Aisha:
The people used to fast on 'Ashura (the tenth day of the month of Muharram) before the fasting of Ramadan was made obligatory. And on that day the Ka`ba used to be covered with a cover. When Allah made the fasting of the month of Ramadan compulsory, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever wishes to fast (on the day of 'Ashura') may do so; and whoever wishes to leave it can do so."

With all respect due to all my muslim ppl but I will never belittle Isa to fit in! I have my own duty to believe in whats been revealed. I seen Him as one of the heavenly Angels! He was more then a prophet in my eyes. He was like one of the Angels nothing less✋ I saw Imam Ali as one of the prophets! And yes they look mighty in battle n very handsome n Isa was beautiful! Masha Allah, thank you for the informative video, however, It is good to know. First, The Muharram was the first day of the year in Jaaheliat time before Islam, so, that was the opposite of the prophet's order which was Rabi ul Awal. Second, Muslims are not happy with Muharram because of the assassination of the Prophet's nephew (Hossain) in Muharram for making celebration, although some Muslims are just happy with Kholafa and money and do not care about Rights/Haggh and Mohammad's descendent (صلی الله علیه و آله و سلم)
