Czech Velosteel hub inside is almost exactly the same.
Lately I did find an old german bicycle, ready to be thrown away so I saved it, with a torpedo from 1940 aswell, this one is painted black as chrome was 'kriegswichtig' so it's strange this is in chrome.

The hardest part is to remove the chain wheel. Do you have any tips on how to do that, without any special tools? I always need to leave my Torpedo hubs to a professional shop for chain wheel replacement.
without special tools, it is very difficult. If a chain wheel is in a bad condition, you can carefully saw it into pieces.
I have a torpedo the same on ebay for sale I saw one and in the description it says WW2 do you know what the meaning is? thanks and very useful video in case I have to revise it!hi
