I've had this piano for a couple of years and didn't know much of this - absolutely excellent - thank you so much!
I did know how good it is to play!

Why is no one discussing the RH3 technology? All the reviews of this thing focus on its nice but very basic and limited sounds and minimal, essential connectivity... surely this is Korgs way of putting RH3 into an affordable unit for the first time? But every review skips over what RH3 is and its making me question whether it's legitimate or not... 🤔

I want to buy one of these but I'm afraid Korg is gonna release a new version the next day 😅...

So if the official website states 4 layers of piano dynamics sampled, why does the manual state 3 oscilators used for the main piano tones? and what about the poylphony* devided by the number of oscilators? 😮😊

This paired with Yamaha Reface CP and you have the best Rhodes/Wurly sounds for less than half the price of Nords or higher-class Korgs and Yamahas

For unknown reason the spec gives weight WITH stand (unfortunate naming, it is I guess "rest"), but does not say a word, if this is with pedal or not. So what is the weight of the keyboard alone? I really hope D2 with USB and BT MIDI is on its way (not instead regular MIDI, but as additional connection).

The fact that you cannot disable the tremolo on Rhodes sound is a big oof 😢

Is there no built in speakers?

Stage pianos don't (typically) have speakers. You can listen with headphones or by plugging it into external speakers/amp

5pin MIDI is much more versatile and USB-Midi adapters can be bought for 5$

A 5-pin MDI connector is always preferable to a USB MIDI connector, especially on the setups where stage pianos are used. If you need a USB connection then there are plenty of adapters, from very cheap to studio-quality MIDI/USB adapters. The big complaint is the lack of a USB Audio port for digital sound transmission to/from an external device or DAW, but that would increase the cost of the unit. Maybe on a future D2...
