It's amazing.
In the Camp of the Technic League, you start out at the SE corner of the map. You cannot go up the middle, so you have only two ways... straight up north, or west and then north.
The straight up path is the easier on. You meet only two guys, which can even be done on their own. You meet up with you captured companion (if you chose to give one up and not fight at the first encounter). You meet the two captured Half-Elf and -Orc, who will fight on your side against the rest of the camp. (Not that they are very good. They tend to get focused down very fast in my experience. But still.)
It is just the easier way.
But somehow every single LetsPlay that I watched takes the other path. :)
In the Tecknick league ambush Lindsey died but because of her ring she was teleporterad to oleges instead of dying

Linzi has a ring that returns her to Oleg's whenever she gets killed.
I never regret playing a paladin for the main character. Good persuasion and a secondary healer (getting rid of fatigue+exhaustion too) and the smite evil (stacking buff on attack+damage for the party once you get mark of justice is kinda overpowered, considering my group gets +6 to attack and +11-20 dmg on each attack) makes him a really great leader character, and I'm not even talking about all the fact that most of your party's saving throws are boosted by your paladin. Getting some +will on Valerie and Amiri is just great. Full BAB still makes him a great damage dealer besides all the protective and offensive utility. Tip: get some CHA for Valerie/Amiri (or any character that suffers from a low save) so you can "bestow grace" on them....eagle's splendor or items....

You can write the spell scrolls to Octavia and Linzi's spellbooks so that they learn them. You can do that with most scrolls except cleric spells. If you find scrolls they don't have in their books you should look into letting them learn them rather than cast them or sell.

a higher attack score does not bypass concealment, it does increase the reliability of hitting standard AC. to mitigate the effect of concealment, the blindfight feat would be recommended.
to my knowledge both bless and raise morale grant a morale bonus to attack rolls, and hence don't stack for the attack bonus.
the technic fight is winnable, it often requires one to bum-rush the mages..kalanna will summon wolves that trip and can completely wreck the team while the other mage tends to open up with the blind spell, that... if the save fails basically neuters one of your troops. using a crowd-control spell like hideous laughter to control either the archer or one of the swordsmen can relieve some of the damage pressure while wrapping up the mages. and as you have deducted, Amiri is very well suited for this job, as she deals a lot of damage, is fast and mages grant attacks of opportunity from melee characters when they cast.

That fight, I go straight for the casters there. It's brutal otherwise.
I love that you are playing your character according to your concept. Regongar is a very bad person but because of his usefulness almost every other let's player always justifies his place in their party even when they are playing someone supposedly noble and lawful good like Leon. With your clever play-style and charismatic paladin you really do not need the Chaotic Evil jerk running around with you :-)

The cleric channel positive energy, you should avoid using this in combat as it will heal ALL living things. There are abilities/feats you can get later which will prevent you from healing enemies.

That fight isn't too hard if you simply use Valerie (plus maybe one more character) to keep the fighters busy and *kill the casters* quickly with everyone else.
