@@mufmager Given the gear ratios and even adjusted for exponentially increasing air resistance it could probably go up to 255-260. Unfortunately GR 86 and GR Yaris are limited to the same speed.
Shift is really perfect! yes at highspeed is not so comfortable. because hard suspension. but for short trip is ok and it makes really much fun to drive, so sporty.
@@enfantterrible4868 wait, you think that a normal E class estate ( no AMG version) is quicker around a track than the Toyota GR86 ? Are you high ? Seriously. And the best handling Mercedes estate car isn’t the big heavy E class, it’s the C class. Sorry but that’s the reality. The E class isn’t a sportscar. It’s fast on the Autobahn if it got the right engine but that’s it. It’s not a sportscar or anything similar to that. You also wouldn’t drive a Mercedes G63 AMG on the racetrack just because it’s fast in a straight line wouldn’t you ? Till now I haven’t seen an Mercedes E class estate on any trackday for a good reason. Most people on track days drive Porsche or BMW.
I love this channel because there is no talking

Best channel
Is 229km/h the limiter?
Is it restricted to 229 km/h? How fast does it really go according to the GPS?
Limited yes
it could probably reach 240 on a good day

@@EmptyJarDotoConsidering the last generation BRZ didn’t have a speed limiter and topped out at about 230, I bet the new ones can go at least 250
I may be wrong.. but the shifting between gears is not smooth... and the car feels uncomfortable

i don’t think the car is to be blamed lol

Seems like it is a limiter at 229 km/h btw 2nd comment
Unfortunately you’re right

300hp GR YARIS is better
10k for an extra 70horsepower? With the same weight, and the gr already has amazing handling. Whats better about it? Other than power?
ok buddy
