The first time I saw TW live was at the 2019 private Whisky show, just a little over 100 of us there. I stood directly in front of Pau on her keyboard, maybe 3 feet away from her. I have never dealt with addiction, neither myself nor family,so I wasn't expecting what happened to me to happen. As soon as she started singing, everyone in the room suddenly disappeared and it was just Pau singing only to me,I was in a trance and didn't realize it until she finished and I snapped back to reality. I found myself hurriedly wiping the tears off my face so as to not be embarrassed in front of all my TWA friends, but guess what? Almost every person,a roomful of grown men such as myself, were also wiping away the tears. I've never felt passion like that in 50+ years of concerts, the emotions she drew out of the crowd was mind boggling to say the least. For me personally,I felt like she had just ripped my still beating heart right out of my chest. I'll never understand how a 13yo could bring that to a subject like this, but hey,we're not talking about typical teens, these girls have something I've never seen before. I have had one on three time with Dany,Pau & Ale on several occasions and I can tell you this,it only takes about 30 seconds before you realize you are in the presence of a once in a lifetime phenomenon! Can't wait for the new music, the girls say it's their best yet...I can't imagine that, but I'll never doubt them, ever! Thanks for The Warning reactions! ⚡⚡⚡
I would question the very soul of anyone not deeply moved by this masterpiece. Ad in the fact that it was written by a thirteen year old is simply mind blowing.
The passion, the conviction, the vocals and at the end when they all 3 are harmonizing wow wow wow. I should have not watched this at work. Tears every single time. All this from 3 teens. Great job guys.
Thanks for this reaction! This is such an awesome song and Pau's voice is incredible, and as Charlie stated, it is perfect for this song. If I am ever able to see them perform this song live I will probably be in a heap on the floor by the time it is finished. I can relate to what Pau sings in this song. I have dealt with addiction to the point where I began to question if the world would be a better place without me in it. It is a point of desperation that I would not wish on anyone and never intend to experience again.
Dany and Pau back each other up in subtle ways all over the place, sometimes it doesn’t really sound like two singers but just a richer voice, and of course Ale is superb at backing vocals. These harmonies I think are the most distinctive part of the band’s sound.
For those of us who had alcohol problems or had a close family member with that problem, This song is a damn punch to the face, for the memories and emotions that it brings us all at once ... And written and performed by a teenage girl. Fascinating!!!
The iconic Wembley Stadium falls to pieces when the English friends begin to sing it in chorus. Let this pandemic end and we want to see them in concerts before thousands of people
@@nukchuu1 I'm a week old. I've never ever heard of them untill on my recommendations, metallica cover showed up last week. I saw the view count and was like, damn! Guess I'll have to find out what that's all about........ I've been on the tear ever since.😁 They're so good. The best Generation Z artists hands down.
It was a long time before i could listen to this song without a tear in my eye. I still get the lump in my throat. For anyone that has either gone through addiction or watched someone close go through them, this song cuts straight to the soul.
Great great point about Pau's voice being able to sound "desperate" . . totally get what you are saying. The emotion and passion in her voice reach into your soul . . chills and tears. Damn these young ladies are AWESOME!
Another Pau-fronted favorite! She has such passion when she sings! I've heard several people comment that this song is exactly what they went through themselves, it's that real to them, and that says a lot
This song tho. I well up every time I hear this particular rendition. Their talent and skill is ridiculously off the charts imho. Thanks for showcasing The Warning again. Good job!
Great reaction you guys!😁 Brennan's Dad nailed it with Pau's vocal capabilities as far as projecting tons of emotion. She truly is the Queen of the Rock Ballad!😉👍 This song *STILL* rips my heart out, even after listening to it probably 100 times now.😢 Hard to believe she was only 13 when she wrote this.
First time I heard this was about a close friend or family member..I have heard Pau wrote this at only 13 yrs old. And Pau also said she gets her ideas for songs from her reading.

I like your interview and all that, everything on cue so far. You have to start from the beginning when they were really really young to understand how good they are.
I've seen interviews where Pau and Dany say that they get a lot of their ideas because they read a lot of books here is an acoustic version of dull knives Pau does a great job on the piano ua-cam.com/video/AuPDYrYcjh4/v-deo.html

Wait until the rest of the world discover The Warning after that 3rd album drops, and they start discovering the bands earlier material, especially songs like "Black Holes", and then they discover that it was written by a 13 year old. Pau is gonna take off in a big way, there is just too much talent in this young lady for the world to ignore...and out of all the members in this band,it's Paus vocals that does it for me,she just has it.
Someday they should perform all of XXI Century Blood live. It’s a great album but the songs all sound better with their matured voices, and even the Dakota Bar show doesn’t fully show how good they are now. Some of Dany’s recent covers make me think she’ll totally kill it on the new album.
I'd like to see them do The Enter Sandman cover again from the cave. Even it's only for Patreon. That would be awesome! It would be a fun to to compare covers😊
Hello Brennan your comments on Black Holes were spot on. Pau does puts a lot of emotion into her signing. Don't know if you've reacted to Narcisista. The video where they premiered the song you can tell she was pissed off. By the way I have another performer in mind that I think you should react to. Her name is Elise Trouw. Like TW she started playing Rock Band video game at a very young age and that is what set off the spark. She is around Dani's age and she writes her own songs and has put out a few covers. She plays all the instruments and loops it all together. Please check her out you will be very impressed. ua-cam.com/video/Gl9GtO_vQxw/v-deo.html
Now your are well down the Warning rabbit hole you should give "Show me The Light" an view another Pau on Piano song she wrote it just to see if she could write a love song and as you will hear she could a very good one. They I think only have one video of them doing it but it is on 21st Century Blood
Another serious song written by a young teenager could be Allie Sherlock's Cant Breathe. The young lady have had a tought start on life. Her mom died when she was 9 and she was afterwards bullied so heavily in school that her dad decided to homeschool her : ua-cam.com/video/_KWp2FYDVkk/v-deo.html
In my opinion I actually don’t think we are. I think the song can go way past just the issue of addiction, but into the byproducts and environment that surrounds it as well. It’s like seeing a whole painting vs just the people in it, again in my opinion.
Pau has a talent when writing lyrics to project herself into a character, whether someone she actually knows or someone completely imaginary. I often liken it to Bruce Springsteen (he once noted that he’s always telling the story of factory workers and he himself never worked a day in a factory). To me it doesn’t so much matter whether she has seen it up close or not, but that she can make you think she has.
She has the big smile at the start of this sad song because the audience was singing along and they knew all the words to her song. It made her night!

Barely a teenager. She was 13 and still in grade school lol.
Still one of their best songs. Paulina is a true superstar.

If the line "I surrender in my defeat' doesn't move you, especially the way Pau sings it, you are not human.
