Can you believe a 13 year old girl wrote a song about the feelings of an addicted person ? Well, after all you have seen and heard from Pau i guess the answer is yes !
That is the song that dropped my jar. The one that won me over. Seeing Pau sing like that, with such an unconditional passion ... it's just amazing! And at such a young age...

I'm just happy they stripped it down and let her play the piano that she is so damned good at. But yes, the song writing on this one is just masterful. Pau is a songwriting genius. It's funny how they write the songs in English and know how to make them say what they want, but they said in a interview that they have to have their mom help them make sure when they write a song in Spanish, that they write it correctly because sometimes they use the wrong words because they are used to writing in English.
Great reaction! Deep subject! Their mom asked Pau, the drummer, if she could write songs about rainbows and unicorns. She said no!
"I didn't at that age" that fits pretty much anything regarding these gals when it comes to me. I am dumbfounded every time I hear them.
Pau can definitely pull emotional strings as well as Dany. Dany's guitar is so haunting. And the closing harmonies when Ale joins are beautiful.
Having two strong, but different, voices is a big plus for the band. (Ale also sings well and has done a few lead vocals live, but so far at least she’s not eager to do them-but maybe that will change as her voice matures)

The First time The Warning play at the Whisky A Go Go in January of 2018 they played the Song "Survive", The Drummer Paulina She Starts the Song off with her Singing and while she's sings she Takes off her Boots and those boots are Laced up
It kills me when she sings "I surrender in my defeat". it that doesn't bring a tear to your eye, I don't know if you are human.
An amazing song about addiction written by a teenager that has never experienced it. WOW. This song has brought many strong men to tears. Not to mention the incredible instrumentation.

The reason Pau is smiling at the beginning is because the crowd was singing along with her.
I'm a real sucker for a good rock ballad, and this song is one of my all-time favorites from The Warning.. or just about any band truthfully! I think Pau wrote this when she was 13, and if there's an equivalent to a country 'tear-jerker', man this is it! She projects so much emotion every time she does this song, it's pretty tough to not let it get to you.😳 The other biggie for me is 'The End' from the QOTMS album. There's quite a few different versions of it floating around the net, but I still like the one from Lunario CDMX the best!😍 Great review you guys!😉 🤘😎🤘

Yes, the bass-player is the youngest, she (Alejandra/Ale) turns 16 this month :p This song has such depth it's scary, love it. Hope they play it live again once they can start touring again, though I suspect their third album will get the most playtime for a while :)

These young ladies have been giving piano recitals since they were 8 or younger. Even the 13 year old bassist has 5 years of experience on the stage by the time of this show!
Even from the earliest performances Ale has looked confident on stage. She may be nervous beforehand but when she’s live she gets into a zone.

The band announced on Sunday that Spector Bass will be issuing a signature bass next year for Alejandra. 15 years old, and you have a signature guitar, how crazy is that? It will be called Golden Thunder. It has a gold metallic finish, with the Band’s logo on the body. Its a gorgeous (if not gaudy) guitar.
@@onechance8 I have no info on that. I have heard some informed guesses that put it around $900. That is in no way a prediction from me. Most entry level Spectors are around $600. The custom made instruments run into the tens of thousands.

It seems to be aimed at younger players, and I think Spector particularly wants to get more girls into bass playing. They made a much fancier custom 5-string for Ale this year, with a single lightning bolt fret inlay. I am wondering if they will also sell a variant of that, if it happened it would likely go in the $5,000 to $10,000 range if it is US custom shop.

Pau at the age of 14 write Black it's all about Drug addictions that is crazy ! Foucault on their second alum Queen of The Murder Scene a concept album a master piece ! Paulina's has written over 80 songs she is a prolific song writer o yeah google her lead on Nirvana Breed in Argentina with Eruca Sativa power Trio cover I forgot she is the energy Bunny on steroids ! You dudes just kill it with your reactions...but honestly,is Pau just takes you to another level when she gets on the piano,and this self written song just soars with those vocals of hers. All those girls can sing,but its Pau raspy voice that does it for me,especially on this song and "Creep".Again,you guys break down another of their videos perfectly.
This is one of the better performances of this song, although they are all good. These are also better than the album version because her voice has become stronger.
Crimson queen they just use the bass drum portion of the drums but it’s such a great song you should check that out. I just found out bout this band like 2 days ago heard every song and memorized a good portion already. I love the old rock vibe they give.
