    Bali looks so much like my homeland Kerala, we do have those pestle in here.Ours are bigger than these. And the cuisines also have some similarity. The samabal in our language is called "chammandhi".

      I’m sure a lot of parts are similar to India! Oh really, they were a lot of fun to use, we only have small ones in the UK. Ahh nice, I really enjoy the sambal!
