feels like spinmaster must've given a stipulation that D could only get a review copy if he didn't do size comparisons because they're afraid the size could affect sales... really would have been nice to see, but D almost ALWAYS does size comparisons, so this feels like some strange thing that was asked of him, not his conscious or unconscious choice

Kratos is 192 cm/ 6'4 inches in Ragnarok, the figure size is accurate for 1/12 scale what are you talking about?
@@imnotryuu6391 all I'm talking about is that he didn't do size comparisons because spinmaster likely requested they not? what are you on about? some people are gonna be unhappy with the size, acknowledging that isn't me saying I have a problem with it. I've justified it's size on many other threads. reading too much into my comment brother. check his video of size comparisons and you'll see my actual thoughts on the size. nothing here said about the size other than it not being shown. how can we tell in this video in isolation if he's proportional to 6ft 4 in 1/12? we can't, and that was the point of my comment not being able to see. move along
Bro what? No size comparison? 🤯 Especially after you said the the one downside to this figure is his size? Wanted to see how he fits in with our other figures and I know you can appreciate that because you are always saying to create our own stories and mix our figures.
Just quickly rewatched his marvel legends ghost rider review and comparing how that figure looks in his hand compared how the Kratos looks in his hand, he does seem to be similar in size to marvel legends (at least from how I see it).

@@seventrue871 saw another review where they didn't show size comparisons but they did measure the figure. He's around 6.5 inches so yeah he's a 6 inch figure
Its a paid ad he was not allowed to show other figures alongside this one in this video hence no comparison

He is not gonna scale with your Marvel Legends/GI Joe if that’s what you’re asking. This line is true 1/12 scale.
my only gripe with this figure is the lack of extra head for shouting/rage expression
For anybody asking about size Kratos and Aloy are both pretty much the same size as a FIGMA and S.H. Figure, they're smaller 1/12 scale I have both and even tho they are a little smaller they are dope as hell and worth it
I hope they also make an og/Greek Kratos because man this figure is really good

I’m also hoping for some of the other characters like Elena and sully but you’re right. We are in need for a new Nate, the neca head-sculpt looks nothing like Nate.

This is the first wave, there are more to come for this line
They won't do it, these are meant to be PS5-specific characters from my understanding. Nathan Drake hasn't had a game in a long time and not on the PS5.

It's a HUGE long shot, but I hope they plan on making characters from older games from the ps2 & 3 era. My picks are Sly Cooper,Jak & Daxter,Nathan Drake,Dante, Cole Mcgrath, and Delsin Rowe.

As a God of War collector I Pre ordered this Spin Master Kratos from Ragnarok. I think it will arrived in a month to my hands (south america). I can tell is more an action figure than a collector piece. A Serious Face would be better for the figure. Once I have it, i will do a review and size comparizon with my others NECA Kratos. And of course Im going to apply some black wash and add some detail to the figure with acrilic paint.
hope you get the ghost of tsushima figure to review. that's the main one I'm interested in.

I don't know if it's the way you do the posing or the camera you have but when you were posing Kratos at like 3:30, it looked like he was really dancing or moving into a pose. Like almost stop-animation style. It was really cool, great job man.
Really looking forward to the Jin Sakai from this line, but haven't heard of these up for sale anywhere except aliexpress yet.
$60 for this is wild lol. That's a 25-30 dollar figure right there.

Give me a 1:12 og Kratos, my old neca one is a bit oversized, and while i loved the new games i dont really fill a need to own fig from them (and still say the old ones have the better character design)

I think Sony plans to sell them directly on their store front page. I plan to go that route for Jin Sakai when they list him finally.
Would have preferred a side by side with other figures, instead of the photo stuff (just here for the reviews, which are usually excellent)

Im a scale freak and If this guy is shorter than a Marvel legends then the entire line immediately become irrelevant to me,i really really hope he's taller than a regular ML.
From what most are saying, he scales smaller than a ML.
Kratos just looks better without the chains wrapping around his gauntlets

How does that shoulder pad work? Is it just a rubber connection with no joint?
The shoulder pad?? It's glue in the back. i like kinda of style it gives more articulation compared to peg-in front and back

This looks so much nicer in hand compared to the promo pics. The pics made it look pretty cheap but its actually pretty good for the price point.
Hey D Amazing have you checked out the Beast kingdom egg attack line its pretty cool especially the venom or VenomPool they are awesome i would love to see a review from you of those figures the venompool is on BBTS a great deal
They clearly put way more effort into Aloy than the rest of the wave. This is nice enough but nothing compare to her.
The price is not the same. Aloy is a deluxe
@@moloko912 She is a deluxe but she is just way better designed, she is the only one who got 2 torso joints instead of 1, and toe joints. And she is about Jin and Atreus height so there is really no reason why they couldn’t do these for the rest.

How does he size up to other figures
While this is more articulated, the NECA 2 Pack Kratos is better as he comes with angry head, 2 pair of Blades, and Mimir. Hopefully they will put out a deluxe version with more accessories. Otherwise, the $29.99 price tag is too steep for little accessories, could have given him an extra angry head.
Actually the Neca one is more articulated. It has double elbows and ankle swivels. But I agree, it should have come with the blades and an angry head. Still gonna buy it, looks pretty good.

Great review but something feels off with this figure. It misses the "ooph" that makes it more toyetic than a toy. It feels plasticky. I would be great for kids but It doesn't have that collector premium feel. I could be wrong. Who knows?

From what I am hearing, Spinmaster gave this to him as a review sample and part of the conditions was that he could not scale it with other figures. Again that’s the rumor and speculation and since D has been silent and not replying to comments on this subject, I guess all we can do is speculate.

There are images online that show his height. He's basically the same height as a GI Joe. So he's definitely a bit short for Kratos, but again, they did make him smaller in the new games, plus this is true 1/12, so he'll fit better with black series, imports and the like. I personally don't mind it as I don't tend to mix lines that much, but he should have been a bit bigger.
