    I feel so mad at the police for working so recklessly. Had they taken the first missing report of Veronica even a little seriously, so many lives could have been saved. Also, this evil miller guy always walking away from the scene of crime and coming back just to help dispose off the bodies that too due to the fear of being murdered himself just doesn't make sense. He had much more to do with these murders and deserved even worsen punishment than he already received

    considering the murders stopped when Worrell died, he was clearly the main instigator of the murders but I'm sure Miller was more involved then he is implying. It seems Miller was really in love with Worrell and just did whatever he wanted and Worrell was the sick depraved individual who planned and orchestrated it all. tbh worrell was probably using Miller as well because he knew how in love Miller was with him. Not saying Miller was not a horriblle person as well, because clearly he was, but I doubt he would have become a serial killer without Worrell.

      Or maybe Miller didn't feel confident that he could keep doing it on his own. The way he describes it makes it look like this was mostly a one person job, but keep in mind that the girls would get into the car willingly, and then they would drive to a different location to where the girl thought they were going. You need someone to drive and another person to handle the victim, so that they don't jump out of the car, or attack the driver. It's most definitely a two-person job and I don't think Miller was capable of doing it on his own. All of our information about how the murders occurred come from Miller himself, so we have no way of knowing how close victims got to escaping, or how difficult it was to restrain them etc. For all we know, he could have made it appear a lot more simple than it actually was, as he needed to make it look like he never contributed anything except driving. He also looks more threatening than Worrell, so it's doubtful that women would take him up in the offer for a ride, which was their normal MO. I just don't think we can just assume that because the murders stopped with Worrell's death, it means Miller's story about "going on a walk" are true.

    Whenever there's a case from the 70s, 80s etc. and the criminal is described as charismatic, it really makes me wonder if they were actually *THAT* charismatic, or if people were too naive back then, because at the time we didn't know what we do now about crime and how people who seem normal can be absolute weirdos. In over 2 decades of being alive, I've never met anyone charismatic enough, criminal or otherwise, to make me think "yeah, of course 7 different women would agree to get into the car with them without ever having met them before, some even in the middle of the night".
    It's like when they ask the neighbours of a murderer about them and in retrospect they're all like "He just seemed like such a normal guy! Yeah, he was quiet, had no friends, his pets kept going missing when he was a child, he had an extensive machete collection and he never allowed anyone into his basement, but no one could have ever seen this coming!"

He was also physically violent, but he worked as a wedding photographer and everyone thought he was the nicest guy. People didnt even believe me until I showed them text messages of him admitting to having hit and choked me. "Charismatic" people exist. Yes, charisma is absolutely a trait of sociopaths and psychopaths. A major reason they are so dangerous, they charm whoever they want and gain trust to disguise their real intentions .. they’ll charm beyond what normal people do, so their victim will be feeling amazing and let their guard down and trust them .. then they wait for the perfect moment(s), to finally get what they really want from the victim. Many do it for financial gain etc, but some are much darker/evil. They experience no feelings of remorse. A highly charming person is a red flag to be cautious of.

    Honestly, I don't have a hard time believing that Miller could have just been the "drive and walk" accomplice he said he was. His previous convictions were generally for theft and similar crimes, he didn't have a history of violence towards women, and the killings stopped with the death of Worrell. He could easily have just been the transport and chose not to be around the crimes he knew were happening when he left. He was very close to Worrell and probably was just allowing him to do whatever he wanted, and helping him get away with it.
    I fully believe he knew what was happening and why they were picking these girls up, I just don't believe he ever played a part in the rape and murder itself.

    If what Miller said about them being lovers is true, you could look at it sort of like a Karla Homolka & Paul Bernardo situation. Miller could’ve taken the more timid role of just supporting his lovers fetish and then helping him clean it up rather than actually participating much In the rapes/murders. Especially if he was gay. But that being said if he was so “in love” he probably did whatever Worrell asked him to which I’m sure was at least being heavily involved in the capture and later disposal of these women. Regardless he deserved life in prison. Also, wtf is wrong with the ex girlfriend??? So scary that people this sick are casually walking around. They say percentage wise that MOST serial killers aren’t and will never be caught. 😞😡

    • @jemmamaccusbic885
      @jemmamaccusbic885 3 роки тому +1

      I was thinking along the same lines, he clearly wasn't the driving force behind the murders, otherwise they would have continued after Worrel's death. I think he loved him and helped facilitate him and then dispose of the bodies after. Whether he went off for "walks" once they the girls were taken, or he helped hold them down, I don't think he participated in the rapes, possibly not the murders either. Regardless he deserved the life in prison.

    reminds me of those stories of virgin hunters whose wives/gfs help them abduct their victims because they're codependent + in love with abusive assholes. imo seems miller attached and depended on worrell in an unhealthy way, so it doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility that worrell could have had abusive control over miller especially since miller ended up homeless after losing worrell. i believe miller to be telling the truth about the walks. (he is still responsible regardless of whether he stayed or left during the final moments.) i believe worrell told him to leave, or perhaps miller could help the man he loves to do all of this, but he could not watch him being physically intimate w someone else.
    remember, from miller eyes, worrell killed every girl he was intimate with, but STAYED with miller, he LOVED miller. he was intimate with miller and now they were inseparable. the women were merely an urge, but miller was forever by worrell's side. that would have meant something huge to miller. i would be wildly surprised if worrell didn't have total coercive control over miller. their beginnings as an intimate couple perfectly laid the foundations for an abusive relationship. and it seems miller's world revolved solely around helping satisfy worrells needs, especially sexual. he was just getting worrell over this "urge" again, and then they would go back to being just them again "the two of us against the world" partners in crime, aka an abuser and his co-dependant victim. i think miller went along with it because he was completely swept up in worrells charming abusive bullshit, AND because his co-dependant ass made it nearly impossible for him to leave someone who had stuck by him, especially after worrell said he wasn't sexually into him anymore (a classic ego slashing).
