Both men are completely depraved for what they did to Virginia. They tortured her for hours, she might have even thought for a moment that if she did what they told her to they might spare her life but no they didn’t! I agree with them spending their entire lives in prison they don’t deserve to get Ault, even though one of them has passed away there is one left and I pray he never gets released. Truly...there simply is NO redeeming souls so dark and too far gone.
I really appreciate the amount of background that you give on the victims as opposed to focusing entirely on the crime and the perpetrators. It’s really respectful to paint a picture of the victims who deserve to be remembered. I feel like some people skip past that and it can come across as glamorizing the killers without humanizing their victims. Thank you for being consistently better than that 🙌🏽

So the cases I want to mention, for you to maybe look into, are from Denmark:
Solved:
-Peter Lundin. A danish man, but born in the US (or "just" raised there, maybe? I can't remember ). He was sentenced without them finding the bodies of the family he killed. That was a first in Denmark.
-Peter Madsen, who killed af Swedish journalist on his submarine 😢😢
And the latest is that he actually escaped from prison (I'll leave it there as a "tease" 😜)
If you want an unsolved case, maybe the case of Emilie Meng, who disapeared, and was found killed 😢😢
Then there is a Swedish case, that interests me a lot! And I still think is deffinatly, one of the most interesting cases ever! In a different way then most cases.
The case about Sture Bergwall.. or "Thomas quick". I won't say a lot about it, as it is a case of twist and turns, and with not really a solve, at the end.. So the cases are really still unsolved (as fare as I know). But it is so interesting (/"scary") concerning the police work, and the human mind.. 😬

It's so vile that the husband had to lobby the system, until his death at 81, to make sure that these pigs didnt get any chance at parole. The very bare minimum that the family should be guaranteed is that these animals will have 0 chance of getting out, so that they can move on. It doesn't make sense.
Please do the South African case of Gert Van Rooyen and the six missing girls in the 1980s. The case is still unsolved and doesn't get the media attention it deserves. The families still have no answers and it's like everyone has forgotten about them❤️

What the judge said at their sentencing was very appropriate in my opinion. He literally damned them for life and said to future judges let it remain so and it was. Good
If it was worse than what happened to Anita Cobby, they shouldn't be allowed to BREATHE anymore... my personal opinion.
Anita Cobby’s murder is the worst one I have ever heard next to Junko Furuta. I think about both of theirs a lot. People are so depraved.

It's weird that so many of the comments here are about Bella's earrings, her cute cat or being so excited to view her latest video over their morning coffee. Guys, this is one of the most horrific murders in Australia's history. A little respect to the victims and their families would not go amiss.
While I'm here, I salute the underrated rural police who managed to catch these monsters and bring them to justice. It was a combination of luck, alerts from concerned citizens and excellent detective work.

I'm glad you mentioned that one of Anita's torturous murderers was beaten up. They should all be, regularly, for the rest of their miserable, incarcerated lives. I live on the other side of the planet, but learning what they did to Anita gave me nightmares for years. And her poor husband, too... i cannot make this up. virginia morse was my great aunt. i was recently informed by my mother about what happened. i wont go into detail but only my grandfather knows what happens and refuses to celebrate melbourne cup day because that’s the day she went missing. he hasn’t told ANYONE what happened to her but i was told a few things and i’m heartbroken.
Imagine being so selfish as to be more worried about being caught for raping and murdering someone than about actually committing the crime. So screwed up.
