Not the first time I hear that for the appointment you need a pink Dosya folder for the papers. I got my Ikamet in Antalya and at randevou they took all the documents and gave us back that folder, so it wasn't needed at all.

Hi Rachel, you will only hand in your documents, if they are complete and your application isn't missing anything, they should give you a piece of paper stating that your application process has been started. You should receive your residency card within 2 - 3 weeks after the day of the "interview". Good luck!

They actually send you an email within 3 days of submitting your application letting you know the exact date and time of your appointment. On the day of the appointment you only need to submit all your documents and if everything looks good then you should get a call within 3 - 4 weeks letting you know that your card is ready for pick up from the post office. Hi Mai! Thanks for watching our video :)! The insurance and the lease should be already in Turkish when you get them from the landlord/ insurance agency. Other than that you don't need to translate anything else. Some Airbnb hosts unfortunately do ask that you pay a ridiculous amount of money to get a lease (pay foe the whole year in your case) but honestly you don't have to, many hosts will be okay with just giving you a lease if you're a guest. It would help if you know any property owners in Turkey that would just give you a lease. Hope this helps :) ! Good luck!

Hey thanks for the video I am not sure regarding the bank account, Apparently it is required to make sure an applicant have sufficient funds to sustain the cost of living, So when depositing the documents What kind of proof was required to show you have needed funds for next 12 Months for example ?
