What are the little adjustments that the pilot on the left keeps making? Little knobs that are turned? Why are some of the top row readouts blinking? Also what are they looking out for out the window? It's clear to me the two men are preoccupied - but I'm not sure at what. I assume they're changing the original flight path to get clear of storm clouds and/or birds?

From someone who is petrified to fly, watching these two takes some of my anxiety away. My heart pounds just watching this video. They seem very responsible and trusting. I so wish I could get past this fear..
I usually have my doc prescribe me a few anti-anxiety tablets. Keeps me calmer and far less anxious. As I get older, I've developed claustrophobia and find planes very tight.
New to this channel, and recently flying again after many years off due to my own phobia. Part of my homework is watching flying videos. But I can't tell what is happening in this video. I watched it expecting to see a thunderstorm, but it doesn't even look like they're in rain. Also, what's the time count on the GRD CALL button you mention? There are so many noises at the onset to them taking off - is this one of them? Also, which part of the flight is autopilot? Is any of this video autopilot, and they've just got their hands on the wheel just in case?
Just means they were aligned with the center-line of the runway as the tires ran over the almost flush center-line lights. Most of us offset just a bit to avoid the noise/thumping. The 737 is particularly loud, and also in the air due to wind noise. Frankly surprises they don't have noise cancelling headsets.
Thank you very much for sharing your world with us as I found this very interesting and enjoyable to watch. Hoping you and your fellow pilots stay safe.
Nice video. It's always lovely to ride along in the cockpit and enjoy the team work and professionalism involved in flying. Its a real privilege to be able to see those moments. I've done a fair amount of flying in small aircraft over my life and it never gets old. 😊 Great to see that storm on the screen ahead and watch as they change course to fly around it and climb up past the weather.
Oh my god so many pushing buttons and turning dials and just movement non stop and looking and looking what a stressful job so glad l sit in the back amazing footage l really thought they actually had hands on steering boy am l wrong they really earn their money well done sirs.
Beacause the question of rejecting the take off or continuing is one of the most critical in our business. Some companies will let the same crew member taking off and keeping hands on the throttle some will request the PIC to handle the throttles, and some will even have both hands when the first officer is flying. Just a question of procedure choice by the company.
Good video and great pilots but wouldn't it be smart to try avoid hitting center lamps to save front wheel carriage and lamps even if they are sturdy, goes for a lot of pilots 🙂
The French think they are the most important country in the world and everything adjusts to them. They expect everybody to speak French. Worked a lot over there. Not 1 word English. "French only".
They seem a little 'fidgety' to me. 1st officer constantly adjusting himself in his seat. A lot of rather rapid head movements reminiscent of an inexperienced driver trying to enter a road with traffic coming from both directions.
They both look very confused about what they should be doing. The fact that they hit almost all the centerline lights on takeoff is worrying. Someday, they will blow a nose tire on the runway.
@@aviationattract4292 Do I need any aviation knowledge to recognize two confused people? The captain even looks nervous, and as the PM, he does not pay attention to what's important. He is preoccupied with the overhead panel and doesn't even appear to understand what ATC is saying to him. Basically, it's very poor distraction and workload management with little evidence of basic airmanship. If this is supposed to be an example of good crew coordination, then Tarom might need to look at their training program.

The same departure on a Boeing 757 would look considerably less busy. I say that with nearly ten years in command of 737s and six in command of 757s.

Lots of random knob turning and button touching. Very cinematic! 😂

Extremely short takeoff roll. Both of these pilots drank too much coffee or have extreme anxiety.

When do they set to climb power
3:28 from the looks of it. The FADEC on the 73NG would control the aircraft's thrust settings throughout each phase of flight.

The French think they are the most important country in the world and everything adjusts to them. They expect everybody to speak French.
Worked a lot over there. Not 1 word English. "French only".
Or to JFK when they constantly use non-ICAO language…
They are allowed to do that as long as they speak english to the english speakers. The same goes for flying in French-Canada. They differentiate.
