I had the same issue on my w211. I just pulled the fuse. I didnt need to adjust the seat ever. If i need to ill put the fuse back in.

I have a 2004 Clk 320. I am getting a malfanction about the parking lights. The left park light stays on even when the car is off. The right park light dose not light even though I got new head lamps. I checked the fuse chart but it says electronic. So what can I do? I dont know what that means. I also have a parasitic drain. Should I take it to an electricion?

The Sam module. (Fuse box) that controls the lights is most likely the culprit. Had similar issues in different models. Rear Sam controls the tail lights in your car.

Why does the door have to be locked when checking fuses?

i’m looking at a 2002 c230 with the same issue do you think i would do the same fuse thing as you did would that fix it?

I would not call it a fuse thing. I have been working on cars for 18 years and not just anyone can do this. If you feel that you dont mind spending hours learning about electronics of a car. If its somwthing you want to get into. Buy the car with enough patience you can fix it.
