This reminds me of the incident in 1979 when The Who performed in Cincinnati. Eleven people were crushed to death. The difference being, of course, that it happened outside the arena. The band didn't know what had happened until after the show. Travis Scott has no excuse, considering the crush happened right in front of him, and loads of people were clearly heard shouting for help. Makes me think he's only concerned about feeding his own ego than he is about the safety of others.

It's the organisers fault the fans fault and Travis fault they all play a massive part. Fans were drugged up some on cocaine weed and drunk also prioritising seeing rappers over saving lives as said by witness they all rushed towards the front while knowing it was over crowded to see Drake and Travis. Also security as as no one over 18-21 should be allowed in a Travis concert. The organisers (Live Nations) didn't supply enough Paramedics or security and let the show go on after a break in which isn't up to Travis it's based off the information he got from Live Nations. Travis stopped the show 5 times (said by witness) and probably wasn't aware of the deaths as management should've informed him also as the guy said no one figured out till an hour later about all the deaths all Travis concerts are moschpits he probably assumed it was the same as any other one ofc he should pay compensation and try make things right but majorty of the blame is on others

1st of all it should've all been canceled when hundreds of people broke in like animals. They had to have known they were over the capacity of people that the venue is supposed to hold. 2nd is that Travis should've ended the show when he knew people were hurt. He knew and he could've took a break and told the crowd to calm down and help the people on the ground. It's happened many times in concerts. He could've tried to calm the crowd. Might not have worked but it would have been worth the try. He sees the rescue squad and knows someone is hurt. Someone walks up to him on stage to probably tell him what's going on, but he just shrugs it off and tell everyone to rage even harder because he wants the earth to move from under his feet. I think he was on drugs and just didn't give a f***. He even asks who wants me to stop when the man and woman climb up on the stage begging him to shut tf up. As a entertainer he knows how to handle a audience.
I agree with everything you said but him saying “who wants me to stop” wasn’t at the boy and girl someone edited it that way HOWEVER it was at one of the security people who came up at 37 minutes into the concert telling him something in his ear. You can see it in the live footage which I watched. What’s actually worse about that is the security are aware of everything going on so he most likely ignored security informing him that the concert needed to stop due to people getting injured or worse they were aware of a death at that point. I hope he rots in hell! Since there’s never real justice for the rich and famous I hope something terrible happens to him. He doesn’t deserve his platform or money. People need to stop worshipping these soulless celebrities they don’t care about anyone but themselves.

Just seen the lay-out of the venue and it's horrifying. Four funnels leading into steel traps, no way out for fans and no way in for security or medics. Whoever okayed that design has some very serious questions to answer.

7:09 might be conflicting info, Wikipedia says "The crush began around 9:15pm and was declared a mass casualty event by 9:38pm....the performance continued for over thirty minutes past the time that the mass casualty event was declared, with Scott's performance ending around 10:10 or 10:15pm" I'd like to add that I actually don't know if the people breaking in made a huge difference. The venue (from what I understand) actually had a max capacity of 200,000. Astroworld was supposedly limited to 50,000 (though I have my sneaking suspicions they sold more tickets than capacity but maybe that's just me). So unless 150,000+ people broke in, there had to be other factors that had a far greater impact than the number of people. (I mean realistically there couldn't have been more than 1000 or so extra people, right?) The main problems I've heard is the shape of the audience standing room and the stage. There was sort of a funnel shape that made it easier to move forward than back in addition to there being sound stations(?) type things that blocked the stage and further encouraged people to move closer to see around them. And once you were in there was no exits- you had to be pulled over the barriers, and since people were so cramped they physically could not pull people up and out without great effort. This is just my thoughts, no intentional misinformation here.
Something is extraordinarily off with someone who has that many lives in front of them and disregards the many cries for help. Every performer has the power to stop the show and do a crowd well being check. Tell everyone to back up. Pick up the fallen. He failed his fans. Rest peacefully to all who didn't make it home. So he wouldn’t of entirely stopped if he saw a few people passed out. It’s not like he would know they’re dead. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be held responsible. I definitely think he could have done more, but it is also like mentioned in the video the overcrowding, the dude injecting people with drugs, and security’s fault mainly for the tragedy.

This reminds me of the incident in 1979 when The Who performed in Cincinnati. Eleven people were crushed to death. The difference being, of course, that it happened outside the arena. The band didn't know what had happened until after the show. It's the organisers fault the fans fault and Travis fault they all play a massive part. Fans were drugged up some on cocaine weed and drunk also prioritising seeing rappers over saving lives as said by witness they all rushed towards the front while knowing it was over crowded to see Drake and Travis. Also security as as no one over 18-21 should be allowed in a Travis concert. The organisers (Live Nations) didn't supply enough Paramedics or security and let the show go on after a break in which isn't up to Travis it's based off the information he got from Live Nations. Travis stopped the show 5 times (said by witness) and probably wasn't aware of the deaths as management should've informed him also as the guy said no one figured out till an hour later about all the deaths all Travis concerts are moschpits he probably assumed it was the same as any other one ofc he should pay compensation and try make things right but majorty of the blame is on others

1st of all it should've all been canceled when hundreds of people broke in like animals. They had to have known they were over the capacity of people that the venue is supposed to hold. 2nd is that Travis should've ended the show when he knew people were hurt. He knew and he could've took a break and told the crowd to calm down and help the people on the ground. It's happened many times in concerts. He could've tried to calm the crowd. Might not have worked but it would have been worth the try. He sees the rescue squad and knows someone is hurt. Someone walks up to him on stage to probably tell him what's going on, but he just shrugs it off and tell everyone to rage even harder because he wants the earth to move from under his feet. I think he was on drugs and just didn't give a f***. He even asks who wants me to stop when the man and woman climb up on the stage begging him to shut tf up.

I agree with everything you said but him saying “who wants me to stop” wasn’t at the boy and girl someone edited it that way HOWEVER it was at one of the security people who came up at 37 minutes into the concert telling him something in his ear. You can see it in the live footage which I watched. What’s actually worse about that is the security are aware of everything going on so he most likely ignored security informing him that the concert needed to stop due to people getting injured or worse they were aware of a death at that point. I hope he rots in hell! Since there’s never real justice for the rich and famous I hope something terrible happens to him. He doesn’t deserve his platform or money. Can only hold your breath up to 2-3 minutes before you really want air. Add in exhaustion, swarm of a crowd pushing you back and forth like a sea wave, and you start dying quicker...and then possibly falling and being trampled??? Probably goes down to 1-2 minutes

Just seen the lay-out of the venue and it's horrifying. Four funnels leading into steel traps, no way out for fans and no way in for security or medics. Whoever okayed that design has some very serious questions to answer.

you had my heart and undivided attention within the 1st minute. Listening to you and the way you said everything proved to me that you have a good heart and want the truth and for others to see it too. I don’t know why this event is calling to me so much but my brother passed away before Astroworld and he was a huge fan. I completely forgot this happened but i remember when it did because i didn’t take it as seriously. But looking back it’s genuinely horrible and there are so many aspects to think about in this story.
To me this is absolutely insane the carelessness was overwhelming and these people im sure didn't expect this outcome.... Smh he should be held fully accountable in my opinion

I read a comment that he wasn’t saying yea he was saying dead dead dead smh… the right before being lifted on the platform as the music was stopped there was hundreds of screams saying stop the show help and ppl screaming his name (that shook my soul) he quickly says pray just before being lifted. He also said you know what you came here for…. Which is crazy because the ppl that go to his concerts do know what they are going there for, the supposed rage however these ppl are blind to what that energy really is and comes from “ the pit of hell”… Travis knows what he is doing leading all those sheep to the dark side, he is a deceiver like the rest of them.

7:09 might be conflicting info, Wikipedia says "The crush began around 9:15pm and was declared a mass casualty event by 9:38pm....the performance continued for over thirty minutes past the time that the mass casualty event was declared, with Scott's performance ending around 10:10 or 10:15pm"
I'd like to add that I actually don't know if the people breaking in made a huge difference.
The venue (from what I understand) actually had a max capacity of 200,000. Astroworld was supposedly limited to 50,000 (though I have my sneaking suspicions they sold more tickets than capacity but maybe that's just me).
So unless 150,000+ people broke in, there had to be other factors that had a far greater impact than the number of people. (I mean realistically there couldn't have been more than 1000 or so extra people, right?)
The main problems I've heard is the shape of the audience standing room and the stage. There was sort of a funnel shape that made it easier to move forward than back in addition to there being sound stations(?) type things that blocked the stage and further encouraged people to move closer to see around them. And once you were in there was no exits- you had to be pulled over the barriers, and since people were so cramped they physically could not pull people up and out without great effort.
This is just my thoughts, no intentional misinformation here.

@@beak2932 He would tell people when he stopped to back away from those who looked like they just passed out. You have to understand people passing out during concerts is common. So he wouldn’t of entirely stopped if he saw a few people passed out. It’s not like he would know they’re dead. I’m not saying he shouldn’t be held responsible. I definitely think he could have done more, but it is also like mentioned in the video the overcrowding, the dude injecting people with drugs, and security’s fault mainly for the tragedy.
