I ordered the tree sock pattern and supplies. Thanks for sharing. It's beautiful🎉
@@annzbikowski4198 it is a good, the beads are making it POP!
I'd be cool with a live! Thanks for another awesome update on all the things. You guys were the reason I bought a ticket to Midsummer, but I was one that couldn't get in. I took advantage of some of the classes so that was cool. I also bought some Pirate and Robin thread and can't wait to use it! XOXO
@@jenbenda such a bummer about midsummer. We are excited about lives too!
Lovely catching up with y'all. Thanks for sharing and Happy Stitching!
Our pleasure!
Love celebrating the country that I am living in for the Olympics.....so important, I think.
@@hannamansfield2894 me too! -C
Love the custom Olympic pattern ❤
Saw a welcome mat yesterday that said Gather and in smaller letters below somewhere else, possibly cheeky enough for you 😂
@@TurnbullsThreads actually….i love that
I love loop start! Its so much faster. You might try going live on Twitch. Thry have a good community of stitchers on there too!
What a wonderful Friday morning of stitching with you three lovely women!!!!
@@SarahsStitchySpot awww. 🥰
Wonderful stitching ladies! I did miss seeing Elizabeth’s clown this time. I wasn’t home to join your stitching table at Midsummernight Stitch, I’m sorry I missed it. Maybe Steph will do something similar for the Jingle Ball! I did do some of the events on Saturday and it was great fun! Caroline, I love your Olympic stitch and already sent an email requesting a copy of the pattern. I too love Arica and enjoy her flosstubes so much! I hope if you host your own stitching retreat you will invite me please!
I missed working on the clown! I was really hoping for a Cranberry in Pines finish this week.. but I’ll make sure Justin gets some love before the next video. 💚
So many comments to add, but will just say it would be awesome to see Elizabeth try some stumpwork - I think it’s always stunning and I have books on it, but I’ve never tried it! 😅
@@pavana-rhymes.with.Madonna I want to see it too! -C
It’s hard to get pack the start up when there’s so much fun cross stitch to do!
YES PLEASE to lives and to showing ALL of your fiber arts Elizabeth!!
Omg. With that kind of encouragement I might actually start finishing things. :p
@@Elizabeth-pj5if I'd be happy to see them at any stage! Inspiration is everywhere, even in the "unfinished." But I can also provide more pictures of Bruce as motivation if necessary 😉😂
I love the sock for Luca, I'm doing this one too with his companion sock but more slowly than you 😅 maybe because I'm scare of finishing it into a sock. Elizabeth do you use a video reference for fully finishing it?
I understand English but not speak it well, if something doesn't make sense I'm sorry in advance
I’d be afraid of finishing it as well. I’ll be asking my cousin to do it. She’s a very accomplished seamstress!
If you do a UA-cam live I’d attend! I tried to get into the midsummer stitch room and it was full

Love all your projects, and your stitching is beautiful. Most of all I love the fun you bring to flosstube. You are all so natural in front of the camera and have a beautiful friendship. Looking forward to 100 more episodes.

My mind is blown with the top loop start and I’ve been using it ever since.
It’s so fun! The best start
I found your channel because of Mid-summer stitch - and it’s so great. I had to pause a couple of times and google some stuff - English vs Danish and the color puce - thank you - keep it up - I’ll have to go back at watch - Also Elizabeth I had to buy 100 circles.
@@lizadehnel9480 love a good google deep dive ! I’ve love watching 100 circles grow! -C
you guys are the best. Always have a good laugh when watching. Was able to get into your room at Midsummer stitch and I was thrilled. Loved being able to interact that way with you guys so yes do more live. Also loved learning about all of your rules (mostly Caroline's, lol). I would love to hear more about your fashion rules
Oh my god… we have so many fashion rules. So many. And they absolutely contradict each other at every turn.
Happy to hear you were able to join us at midsummer stitch, and gappy to hear you had as much fun as we did. 💚
So fun catching up with you all again! I'm so sorry I missed Midsummer Stitch... your room was completely full and I couldn't get in!! :(. Was pretty bummed. Great wips and progress and thanks for the laughs :). Also thanks for being real about stitching patriotic... it can just be awkward!

Aimee, I am a Nurge lover too! I have every size except for the largest - which you might find works great with your new stand 😊
Ohhh I want one too -C
Oh yay! My only gripe is that I have to iron when I move it. It does make some big creases. But I have the extra large one and it’s quite a while between moves.
I would take a UA-cam channel of all your changing interests, lol, though I am here for the cross stitch obviously, lol!

This was so much fun to watch! And informative! A few ideas for the Maximum Cross Stitch project: instead of "WELCOME" how about: ....."FORGET IT"...or...."COME IN IF YOU DARE"....or..."MAYBE LATER"....or..."DID YOU BRING WINE?"
Fab ideas!!! Love
Assisi embroidery is super fun! I was able to find a pattern book form the library (King county)
Great tip! I used to work for KCLS. So lucky to have access to such a great collection!
KCLS has been a godsend while SPL has been down. My family are heavy library users
The thumbnail is everything. I have two barely started Hawk Runs and considering switching to twenty count Aida. This was inspirational on that front.
I can see doing it on 20 count just to keep the size down a little. I bought 32 count PTP linen for mine, and it’s going to be huuuuuuuuge.
@@Elizabeth-pj5if I started them both on 40 and they’re pretty but I never want to work on them because I hate trying to see them 😂
Oh yeah, I can believe it. My 40 count projects on my get worked on in daylight!
I wonder if I did something wrong when I tried a nurge. I got it pulled nice and tight but when I took it off it had almost put a hole through my fabric…but everyone else seems to love them.
@@amandaallen7127 well that would be a big turn off haha
Carline: I just finished The Study in Nature and the right wing side gave me FITS. I frogged it twice trying tomake sure it was symmetrical AND wound up using two highlighters on the pattern to make sure I wasn''t making mistakes. It took me twice as long to finish the right side. LOVE the project, but never been questioning my ability to cross stitch more. Elizabeth: I started embroidery journey when I was a teen with crewel embroidery and have been playing aroudn with finiding a small kit and revisiting. I LOVE your tree stocking, enough I want to play around with doing one! Aimee: I have the Book at Night pattern and am going to look for fabric and threads this week. It feels like the perfect October stitch (I don't do Halloween so this would substitute for that).
@@tracibrookes894 oh I’m so glad I’m not alone Gigi is a menace to society with this right wing, I love it -C
What kind words about cranberry in pines! I hope you do revisit crewel. I think it’s a nice contrast to cross stitch. One uses a single simple stitch to really great effect, the other takes a maximalist approach to texture. Nice to mix it up sometimes!
The Pines stocking is fantastic. But I couldn’t catch the name of the pattern when you said it. Could you let me know, as I would love to stitch it. 😊
@@kathrynbaker-gago5942 cranberry and pines by rosewood manor
Aimee, I had the HARDEST time deciding on fabric. In fact, I had decided on this dark amazing thing and was really excited and then my BF was like "you'll never see the crow on there" and he was probably right so then I spiraled again. ARGH!!!
It’s so hard when the fabric you love isn’t right for the pattern you want to do.
Ahhh, okay, I don’t feel so bad, I had major decision paralysis. I kept sending options to C & E and at one point, Elizabeth was like, “Just start it, Aimee, it’s time” 😂 She was right.
@@ThreadGremlinsAimee Good thing you had them! I just spiraled in my head forever.
"leave by 9" or "closed on Sun" ;)
@@MarissaMcConnell LOVE closed on Sundays, v v cute -c
Elizabeth, I would love to see your Jacobean crewel; I am working on a crewel project as well. And thank you for admitting that patriotic stitching is....complicated. Enuf said. Anyways, great projects and SUCH a fun video as always!
Thanks for the encouragement! I’ll dig it out next time. :)
@@carrielgsyes, you get it. Thank you 🙏🏼-C
I love that for Caroline, ripping any of it out never even remotely crosses her mind.
Patterns can’t boss me around
No one can. 😍💚
I took NOTES! I think these are maybe in chronological order. Maybe.
Somehow, boys always become best acquainted with the contents of the pantry / fridge / freezer. Superpower?
Venetian Lion! ❤❤❤ love that purple. Great fabric choice!
Gotta know what was said about sudoku. Let the internet weigh in on AITA?
I’m with Elizabeth; thumbs down on houses in everything. Whyyyyyy

How is EVERYTHING that Pirate Robin makes SO GOOD? Calling witchcraft.

Elizabeth....please bring any kind of work in to share!! ❤
I think so too….please!!! -C
Okay so I have the Lowrey stand but front loop start, now that I need to master! I thought you couldn't do a loop start with variegated thread because you lose the variation? Is there a way around this I don't know about? Love your stitching and every ladies. Already looking forward to the next Flosstube 💗
@@loftymakes I have a video about how to prep variegated floss, works well with heavy variegation. Hope it helps!
@@Threadgremlins thank you, will have to check it out! 💗
I want to do this sock too. I missed the details of yours, fabric size finished sock size yours looks like a Hugh sock
SUPER video!! Can you please share where to purchase the project bags you showed? Thank you so much!
Etsy! It’s probably shiba designs
Vicki Clayton silks
If you are going to use Victoria Clayton silks for Halloween at Hawk Run Hollow, choosing fabric is easy as I think her conversion is for the charted for 1 over 2 on 40 count linen. If you want to use a lower count fabric I think you might need more silks, but Vicky is very helpful and will get you sorted if you send her an email 😊❤
Hot tip, thank you!
I think I have an Assisi pattern or two saved from a cross stitch magazine… (finally watching again how many hours later, lol)
Symmetry! So necessary to my brain too! Yes this is becoming a thread of my late night live comments through your video, lol
Puce! Dark red/brown/purple color, but I’m one of those people who mistakenly thought it was a shade of green for years (Mandela Effect)
I really love that color for the Within a Dream!!! (I am doing a similar “different” color on Teresa Kogut’s Sacred - mines on a pink/rose that goes so well, but is far from the light neutral it calls for) I mostly went with the light neutral because I had gotten to finally see the fabric and color that I used and it was just too perfect not to go with it…
When it’s right it’s right. 🤷🏻♀️
I love you guys for real, and if ya’ll ever do a Live or a Stitch with Me Live I wanna be there!! Question: I have a pattern that is hella heavy on the Myuki/Delica beads and Primero Crystals but I have no idea where to buy these. I looked around online and only one place out of Europe sells the Crystals and with this list…it’s going to cost me over a $100 at least for just those crystals. I would really appreciate any help. Also, I totally love to listen to fiberandflosscanda speak as well. I fell like I’m in English class and if I ever need to know how to pronounce something she would definitely be my girl! 😂
@@thepetrifiedgardener3144 I’ll see if E has any idea for beads. Arika should do book narration, I need more, I feel smarter when I listen to her -C
For the delica I like barrel of beads or shipwreck beads. For the crystals… honestly what I’d do is go to my local bead store and talk with the staff there about a domestic conversion.
@@Elizabeth-pj5if oh my goodness THANK YOU!! The designer is new and out of the states and had no idea that the beads and crystals for her patterns were so expensive for us because they are pretty cheap in her country. She is looking to start selling bead packs but right now everyone is out of stock so she doesn’t have a date on when she can sell the packs. I’ve asked around on FB and gotten nowhere on the crystals.
@@Threadgremlins for real! I love the her diction is just spot on and she says some words, which drives me crazy when just garbled through, correctly. I feel like I could get a message to listening to her FlossTubes. Thank you so much for your help.
No worries! When you go make sure you bring the bead measurements and approximate colors, and your local store should hook you up. :)
Don’t tempt me to get Hawk Run Hallow Halloween! I keep eyeing it.
@@SnowconeStitchery I know! It’s a BIG one! Come on, you know you want to haha -C
@@Threadgremlins I’m sure I’ll break down and get it by October! My other wips keep saying they need more attention, especially the clown…
I’m on block 5-6 of Halloween at Hawk run Hollow.
Nice! That is A-LOT of work! -C
For the moth/butterfly and finding the points of comparison: maybe turn the stitching and the pattern upside down and work the second side as if it's the first side. Sometimes our brains get a little uncomfortable going over the midline of an image. But if your brain thinks you're working another 'first side' it may be easier to keep on going.
If you are able to at least outline the wing in that way, it might help?'
Just thinking....
How did Aimee meet you guys? Is she your producer/nanny? 😁💜
