People have said "you were so damn good", and i think that my performance was extremely unique and I'm soo happy that i got to do something unique in this contest. I feel so happy that i decided to do this and i think that I'm amazing.
Reporter: why do you think that you didnt place higher in the contest?
Omar: people are speculating and trying to find the answers to this and what i hear the most is that maybe people weren't ready for this kind of song, maybe i was too unique. Some people were like "this is TOO good for this kind of song contest" and maybe that's why i didnt place higher. And also some people don't understand the new voting system.
Reporter: What do you think about the new voting system?
Omar: i think its sooo weird and i don't like it at all!! It was proved last week that Oscar got 100000 more votes than another person but he still lost. It's pretty unfair.
Reporter: Do you think that this affected you?
Omar: Maybe, i dont know how many votes i actually got and I don't know what place i got in. If i hear that i got more votes than someone else that got a higher placement in the contest, i will definitely think that the voting system is the issue and that it's unfair. I hope that i got the votes that i got because then it is fair but yeah.
Reporter: So what are you gonna do now?
Omar: I'm gonna party and take a hot picture and post it and say "happy release day" because my song is out on spotify now!

so i can tell you a little of what he said in the video! so he was in a swedish contest named ”melodifestivalen” it’s basically a big competition before the famous eurovision song contest in europe, but he lost in melodifestivalen and didn’t came that far in the competetion. so in this interview he’s getting asked why omar think he lost with his song, and omar bascically tells the interviewer that his song is too good, and the people wasn’t prepared of his great big song, bc it was ”too good” for melodifestivalen. HAHAAHA i’m a very big fan of him, but this song wasn’t that great😭

Omars låt är så bra. Han hade kommit till Andra Chansen 100%, eller till och med till final. Men röstningssystemet är helt fuckad. Är du under 20 så räknas din röst som ett halvt poäng mindre än vad det gör med dem som är äldre. Och det är så därför att mello vill inte att dem unga tittarna ska få högre meritpoäng över dem lite äldre rösterna. Kbye
