I have just learned about Omar on account of the Netflix series Young Royals, which has brought up a lot of youtube videos. My impression is that Omar is very good at what he does, as an artist and I like his style. Besides, to my surprise, he is venezuelan which makes me very proud for I am venezuelan too and my wish for him is, the best of everything.
I think he is just comfortable with the interviewer. They had met each other before and he just feels confident in the situation and he is giving the answers to the questions. I don't interpret him as rude at all and I don't understand where the rumor of him being drunk came from. He just seems a bit hyped and excited. I don't think Omar is a heavy drinker and that boy loves his work, so I don't think he would not risk coming to an event like that drunk or hungover. He might have had an energy drink before the interview though. It was probably a long day, so it would not surprise me if that's why he is a bit hype. At Rockbjörnen 2021 he had a Red Bull in his hand when he joined Edvin Ryding's interview and he seemed extremely hyped then as well and since he was performing I don't think he had anything alcoholic to drink before he went on stage at least.

I did not see an energy drink anywhere in this video, but since he clearly gets hyped by energy drinks I think that better explains him being hype than that he is drunk. I am swedish myself and we are a bit more reserved generally and his carefree and confident way might be a bit different here. Omar and the rest of his band were wild and crazy in interview situations, but I think they were excused since they were so young back then. If you compare Omar with Oscar that day (who also competed in mello 2019) Omar is more carefree and hyped than Oscar was. I think it is just their personalities. Omar seems like one of those people who does anything to entertain people, even if he ends up looking a bit funny doing it.
