My grandma was a full saami... and the way my mother spoke of saami culture.. there was even saami classes at the school i went to but i moved away due to bullying... When i moved tto tthe south i was bullied for being descended from saami.. but.. all i can think of today is how much i would like to be in a laavu right now... in the winter... living close to roots... sheperding reindeer... being partt of nature... I live in denmark now.. but.. i miss.. home.. Both my grandmotther and mother is gone now... but i would gladly give all of this up if i was allowed to go home.. the world and economy is so cruel..
