    The resellers are smart as hell. Its the idiots that are willing to pay 6x the retail price that are the dumb ones. Wish I had connections.

      That's why most stores only have a few to sell legit...Most are back door direct to resellers. The public is the one that suffers. They should bar code shoes so like they do the weed. Scan all the way thru to the customers. Then the Company can build relationships with the consumer. Instead of just blindly sending out shippment to stores where the consumer never see the product until four or five people already have profit from it!!!

    He's a smart businessman that caught wind of a lucrative resale market. If I could get a ton of Yeezys at retail, I'd do the same. Unfortunately, I don't have any connections. The resellers are geniuses, meanwhile its the idiots that are willing to pay the ridiculous markups, that keep the prices where their at, while bidding them up, driving them even higher. With all this Yeezy talk, yet I've never seen anyone outside of a sneaker consignment store, wear one outside. Their just too limited, and restocks are shit.

      Having connections doesn't make anyone a smart businessman. He has an inside plug to a limited product and the capital, that's all. There's nothing smart about having 100 pairs of Yeezy's being backdoored to anyone, even myself. I'd just simply say, "I have a connect".

    why's everyone hating on him? because he is smart enough to get his hands on 100 pairs to earn himself money? its a business and i don't blame him. plus if someone wanted a pair for retail but didn't get a pair, if it wasn't for resellers they wouldn't be able to buy a pair at all.

    • @mightygesus8477

      Resellers are the reason why they didn't get them in the 1st place!

    • @mdawsss18
      @mdawsss18 8 років тому

      not entirely true. if there were no resellers at all, that wouldn't mean everyone who wanted a pair of yeezys would get a pair. there would still be people who didn't get a pair, but this way they get a 2nd chance to buy a pair off a reseller.

      resellers are a part of the current sneaker culture. this video and constant posts of people complaining about it are examples enough. resellers are shit, no doubt... but they still play a role. think about all those celebrities buying from resellers because they have the cash and dont give AF. its become inherent to the game.

    You can say all you want, but we cannot live without resellers. The only way you can "stop" resellers, is simply stopping everyone from buying the "resell" price. You can't hate this man for making a business. Sneakers are basically like the real estate industry, buy low on a house and sell high. Business is business. This man is smart in what he does, mad respect for this man.

    • @lostcompass
      @lostcompass 8 років тому +1

      Resellers only go after the shoes that will make them money, and there are plenty of them that look good and are not hyped. Living without resellers is pretty easy if you're not a trend chaser.

  • @zacwoods
    @zacwoods 8 років тому +1

    It's not the fact that resellers ruin the game. It's that a lot of resellers aren't in it for anything but the money. It's one thing to resell if you're into shoes and then spend that money on other shoes because it creates a cycle of profit for other sneakerheads but to resell shoe and take the money elsewhere is completely different because it takes money away from the culture itself and gives it elsewhere. If there were no people like that then the sneaker culture would be much more profitable for everyone involved.

I would do the same if i had the funds and the connects not gonna lie. Investing is never a bad thing. If you think he's ruining the sneaker game you're wrong the people buy from him is because they are adding fuel to the fire and keeping his business going.

    For all those asking why sneaker heads are hating, its really painful to see a pair of shoes, so beautifully constructed and which have a lot of thought put in by designers, go to waste just like that. It's going to waste because these shoes are being treated as business / trading/ buy n sell commodities. when that happens, it is no longer a work of art; the thought put into them is lost, and these shoes are not used for wearing no more, but just for reselling for profit.
