I've had it and I consider myself a whiskey guy ( thanks mainly to TJs teachings ) and it's not bad at all. Certainly good enough to serve as an interesting conversation piece before you break out the Michters lol. Thanks Brewzle for all you do : )
I’d recommend the cask strength edition of this whiskey. I think it was a limited release but if you can find it I think it’s better than just the regular blackened
The idea is pretty dope though you have to agree. You like a band a lot and you can buy booze that has been "listening" to their music for months if not years. Probably a gimmick, but at the same time it can give you a lot of nice thoughts while you sip on it.
Yeah, that's about it. Although I do like it a bit more than you seemed to have, it's at the very least a respectable drink from a couple of folks that just so happen to play in my favorite band. And it does come in a cool-ass bottle.
Great review man, really enjoyed it! Their Masters of Whiskey series is some really good juice. May be hard to find their Willett collaboration bottle still, but their collab with Wes Henderson is starting to drop around the country. The normal Blackened bottle is decent enough for me and one I go to often as a daily drinker. Cheers man!

Almost a year ago I got mine here in southeastern Massachusetts , paid about $55 and absolutely hated it i'll use it only for bourbon and cokes.

I like this whisky.......I feel it's like a Canadian blend. I buy it once in a while and drink it over some stainless cubes.
