Hi! I'm having problems in order to set up user_data parameters on PixelYourSite. As a consequence, low quality events correspondence in API Conversions. Do you have any tutorial about? Thanx!
Because of a Facebook error, when Advanced Matching is ON, Custom Audiences based on the pixel will not show the size number (“Size: -1”, or “Size Unavailable”). They will still work fine for retargeting or Lookalike Audiences. The problem seems related to some privacy concerns.
Is this problem fixed?
Hello, could you guys help with Bigcommerce based ecommerce sites? Thank you
Nice options! But If I work with standard events I HAVE TO create this satandard events on Pixel Your Site events lists to work in Face Manager Ads?
If the event is not already fired by the plugin, yes. But first check with Pixel Helper to be sure you really need to create any events. For example, on WooCommerce we automatically fire all the required events.
I´m trying the plugin before getting the pro version. But i don´t see any "Singals" event in my Facebook Event Manager, nor when i create a custom audience or custom conversion. How do i get it into my Facebook event manager?
The Signal event will fire for various actions. You can go to the plugin's main page, click on Signal, and check/control its triggers. The free plugin has a limited number of triggers, so maybe no Signal was yet fired for your site.
@@pixelyoursite28 Oh thanks, i fired from contact form and i see it now, thanks!
@@martincaparros1984 nice :)
Great content! Question - I've installed the pixel, but haven't set up standard events. Yet, they do appear in business manager and are being tracked. I've also checked with pixel helper extension. Could they've been created automatically somehow? Its Woocomerce. The events are page view, atc, initiate checkout etc.
absolutely, we fire all the ecommerce speciffic events for WooCommerce
@@pixelyoursite28 Well, thanks but I haven't installed it through pixelyoursite.
@@TEGA1984 Maybe the tool you use also fires the events, or maybe you have automatic events enabled inside Events Manager. The best you can do is to test your website and check what events are there.
@@pixelyoursite28 where is 'automatic events' you mentioned? I don't see that anywhere in Events Manager.
@@TEGA1984 Exactly. NOBODY ever answers this question. WHERE ARE EVENTS COMING FROM if not the Pixel that you configure yourself? WHERE ARE THEY COMING FROM???? HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE API EVENTS? WHERE????
Can someone help? I have completely disconnected our Shopify Site from Facebook Ads. I am still getting deduplication errors inside Facebook for certain Events like PageView and ViewContent. WHERE do you edit Event IDs for duplicated events? I already made an Event ID for the PIXEL Events. But where are the other Events coming from that need to be deduplicated? WHERE IS THAT? I have read all the Facebook documentation and watched countless videos, but nobody ever says how you deduplicated BOTH events that are in conflict.
Unfortunately am not familiar to Shopify, so I can't answer your question.
@@pixelyoursite28 Yes, but I completely deleted the Facebook App within Shopify. I also deleted the Shopify Catalog inside Facebook. So how can I see where the duplicate PageView and ViewContent events are coming from? How do I access FB Conversion API events to change them? Where is that? Where is the Facebook Conversion API events?
Hi !! Could you create a video or brief explanation about pixel / server parameter deduplication
To remove event duplication?
I think this one covers the topic pretty well; ua-cam.com/video/QqAIO1ONc0I/v-deo.html
The basic stuff:
1. you send the same event twice, once using the browser, once using CAPI. Only one event is processed, the other is dropped (deduplicated).
2. deduplication between the browser and server event is done using the event's name and the Event ID parameter.
3. So each pair of browser/serve events must have the same Event ID.
If the browser event doesn't work, the server event is processed.
This is how it works at the moment. In the future, the browser event will probably be completely replaced by the server event. We are not there yet.
@@pixelyoursite28 Nobody ever answers the question: WHERE DO YOU CHANGE THE SERVER SIDE CAPI EVENT IDS? PLEASE, can someone help me! Nobody ever says HOW to changed the Event IDs for the Events being sent from the so-called CAPI/server??? Where is that!!! I know how to change the EVENT ID on the pixel side, but where are the other events coming from??? WHERE DO YOU CHANGE THOSE EVENT IDs?? Please someone help.
@@SamuelGriffin If you use our plugin, PixelYourSite, the event IDs are unique, and automatically generated for each pair of browser/server events, and you can't change them.
@@pixelyoursite28 We have a Shopify site, but I'm asking where inside Facebook account do you see API/server events and stop them? Where inside the Facebook account?
@@pixelyoursite28 I see deduplication errors in Events Manager inside my Facebook Account. Where do I add deduplication keys(such as Event IT) to the events that are being duplicated?
